  • Hello, Today I will be demonstrating how to clean Platinum pocket pens. This method works for almost all Platinum pocket pens made from 1964-1980s. The same thing applies to other Japanese Big Three brands such as Pilot & Sailor.

    Thats helpfull but i cant take the nib out 😢

      pretty simple, you need to open the washer nut first then simply push the nib (and feed inside). pretty much the same with Platinum on the video

      Yes i try but its hard im afraid to damage the nib

    Is the nib made of solid gold or just plated?

      This nib is made of gold., solid 18K gold

    I have one of these, the ink flows but kind of slowly, would it be because of the clogged ink? The feed also seems to be turning transparent when soaking it. There is also a very large flat foot on my nib, is it meant to be like that?
