I own this guitar, and it’s my favorite to play. It’s so light, and comfortable. The action is amazing, and it really is very versatile. You can play anything with this. Beautiful guitar. Highly recommend.
Also 2nd this. Doubt I'll find a guitar that can get quite as close to this things magic.

Agufish. Ive been watching your videos for a while and I feel like you always have really good tone. Even when I'm not the biggest fan of the riffs which isnt very often I always find the metal tone really good.

Ibanez is one of those companies that don't make any bad instruments. even the GIO series is awesome. i got myself an 2011 discontinued 350exz and a 421 blue moon burst.
I hate to say but I haven't had a whole lot of luck with their lower end models :/ they look great though
You don't know how lucky you have been. You literally got 2 of the few good models. All wizard III models suck
I’ve bought 4 Ibanez guitars, 3 with the wizard iii necks and they all have been flawless. Literally the only company that has never let me down in any area

The Ibanez names are just a code specifying features, specs and colours of the guitars. They’re actually very useful and thought out names
I like Ibanez guitars more than many of the big name companies. This guitar has my eye specifically this year.
I have a love / hate going Bon with Ibanez. I love them for many of the obvious reasons you mentioned and I hate them because when I buy another brand I hate them because I bought I bought the other brand. 🤪

I love Ibanez necks, they always get it right (for me). I own Ibanez guitars with very different necks but they are all just perfect. Also they seem to have some secret stash of amazing fretboard woods, even on the cheap models the wood is just crazy nice. My Talman has a rosewood board that is smoother, darker and nicer than many high end guitars I have played, and that is a pretty cheap guitar.
Some say his masculinity is not threatened by a Barbie guitar, but the tone suffers. And the ladies prefer his left hand for digital stimulation because his right hand wants to palm and chug. All we know is, he's called Der Fish.

I got an Ibanez RGA60 axion labelfrom 2019 and it is the most beautiful guitar ever it has a transparent finish and the woodgrain under is beautiful

I'm definitely a bigger fan of Seymour Duncan, but DiMarzio has some great stuff! Billy Corgan's signiature pickups sound awesome!
I recommend the airzone for any thinner body guitars. Have one in a smartwood lp and it slays. Wouldn't recommend the evolutions, d activators and super distortion 3s sound good in anything.
It sounds great. Looks great. 14 inch radius neck is probably my limit that Im comfortable with though.
Love the seafoam green color. I usually don't like gold but it looks good here with the light green. I'm not a fan of roasted maple though. I prefer ebony and regular maple
I love the guitar…it can get almost any sound you want it to…but I wished more videos were done with this guitar.

Some say, "Pastels, Hunter?" In a manner not unlike Morticia Adams. And he knows how to unlock the 24th fret/middling neck pickup riddle. All we know is, he's called Der Fish!
also for Dimarzio, I really like the Tone Zone pickup. it’s kind of like a custom 5 but with a bit more output

@WaurufEx I have exactly that combo in a Prestige RG655. I looove the sound of the True Velvet Single Coil in the middle! The humbuckers are really good to, but not my first choice for modern tones.
I have DiMarzio’s Classic Rock set (PAF 36th Anniversary in neck, Super Distortion in bridge) installed in my Carvin singlecut and I swear by them
I was looking at this one but the RG421HPFM has an Air Norton & Tone Zone in the rear for $100 less. Might have to go with that although I like the look of this RGA better (Really like off-set dots, if I have to have inlay dots.)

HP - High Performance. I would be all about these, but they chose to use the standard DL bridge instead of the edge zero ii and there's a massive difference in performance between those two.

Im super fan of the natural finishes of some of the super basic models they have. Like you can find some amazing looking ones for 150euros on thoman. That would be super interesting to review those, if, by any chance they want to send you one ;)

I already have one Ibanez - like it a lot, but kinda not my thing. This one is super cool anyways. I think Fender Blacktop Strat is my favorite to this day, even that I don`t have one. Maybe it will be cool if you make a review on it.

I love the Jatoba board on my RGA42FM... I swapped the bridge for a hipshot and and ditched the plastic nut for a tusq... but back to the board, mines velvety smooth even with the grain!

What hipshot bridge did you get. Was it a drop in replacement? And is it also all gold? (Or at least available in all gold)
@@DBIIIStudios the basic one. It wasn’t until after I had it installed, did I find out about the Ibby style. It does come gold, but I grabbed the black one. And yes, it’s technically a drop in replacement, but the factory set the bridge in the wrong position. My tech had to break out the lasers to fit it correctly. So if the factory places it exactly correct, it’s a drop in.
@@adamd.6698 ah ok! I also found gotoh makes a drop in for Ibanez too. I’ll probably go with that one because for some reason, the base plate on the hipshot is black and only the saddles are gold for some reason. I love the gold hardware on the 42hp so I don’t want to go away from it. Might get some bkp’s at some point too.

Agufish do you think swapping the fusions for Titans will be an improvement? I have another RGA with fusions and I'm finding muddy low notes and not nice high notes. Pondering the Titan but apparently fusion is loosely based on the titan...
I might get this guitar the only thing I'm not a big fan of is the inlays I hate the little dot things like at that point don't put anything on their. My personal favorite for inlays is one big one at the 12th fret and nothing else because I tap alot on guitar and that's enough for me to always know we're I am and it looks the best in my opinion.

Think of it in a positive manner. The sound/tone of that guitar on your track, while different from your emg's, Duncan's etc, still kicked ass. Try mixing it with one of you other guitars. The sound is so good, surely you have one that would compliment that one. I mean, isn't the true search for tone about variety? And the above, although different, are all quality tone.
Apart from the gold this colour choice is the exact same i did on a build a bass
well, except for the gold i love it. i'd get rid of the gold. so without seeing it, i am loving your build. i imagine it would look even better on a bass. especially because it is rarely done.
Seafoam green is an odd color for a guitar, but it works in this case. 😎🎸
Editing was a bit too much to my taste compared to the previvous videos. Especially during the demo. Transitions outside of the demo track were smooth, but some effects were a bit too much. Content still remains top tier in terms of quality so it's not really an issue. Keep it up!
I wish they made RGAs with something close to the viper neck, put out a Premium model to see how well it sells.

Hey sir wanna get your opinion on something. I’m interested in getting a Harley Benton Amarok-6 over an Ibanez RGAT62 that I’ve been wanting since it came out. I’ve owned several RGA’s over the years, 7 strings, prestige, so I know I’ll be at home with the RGAT62. But I recently discovered Harley Benton because of your channel and the Amarok-6 has my interest, especially in that green! Hopefully you have some experience with either to shine some light since I won’t be able to try out the Amarok any time soon

I dunno if its the wood combinations here or maybe how you have the Mesa dialed in but those pups sound waaaaaay better here than in any other instrument I've heard with them.
Thanks! I did have to re-dial the Mesa a lot for this one because when I first plugged it in with my normal settings it was incredibly bland-sounding. :/ Still not that happy with the sound, but I'm glad I had the opportunity to try out something new!
@@agufish Well I'd say you got a pretty solid tone dialed in there. I've never been a huge fan of the Fusion Edge's for the same reason you mentioned but they don't sound bad here. Still looks like an awesome guitar and great review! Welcome to team Ibanez! lol

I’ve tried almost every brand name in the industry and Ibanez is the only one who has NEVER had a problem in my 20 years of buying guitars. Schecter is great, esp is decent, epiphone is decent. Jackson, Charvel and Fender can kick rocks! Worst QC in the game

The edges are the low end of dimarzio. If you want some good ones, try out d activators. They are my favorite pickup. :)
Fusion Edges are Dimarzios worst pickups.
lndrld Cold The Dimarzio Titans and Illuminators are supposed to be pretty killer, though.

lndrld Cold Have to disagree with ya there. I’m not a fan of Duncan’s. PRs pickups I have played sounded pretty ok but not amazing. Schecter pickups have been meh. Fish man sound pretty awesome tho. However I’m not a fan of there clean sound. Sounds almost like emg cleans which sound dead to my ear. But hey to each there own. We all have preferences.
