I can't believe someone in japan is trying to emulate the Irish style haha, the traditional wheel is either a 4 spoke revolite or 13 inch superlite but the cibies are spot on!
I don't k ow what any of this shit means lmao
I love Irish ae86 style!
I wanted to put 13x9 on mine but finding tires... The 15s stayed lol
@@JustinKoenigSilica just the only wheel options available back in the day, both 13x7 and you could buy them at any decent tyre shop 😂
ColaCorolla Car Club Love your instagram mate
Makes us very proud to be irish seeing our style recognized by this legend, @noriyaro needs to team up with juiceboxforyou for a drift session or just irish banter it'd be epic!
Alexi: We're gonna keep it cool and only drift a part of the track
Morita: *sends it*
Alexi out here bringing parkour to the drift world.
Dirty bitch
Yasss our shed boi !!!
Fucking hell, same thing came to my mind. I thought parkour wasn't a thing anymore.

Are they friends?
@@younglingbro could be, or just accomplices
@@John-qb8wh maybe they aren't but having a good time reparing an ae86 it will work to build a friendship in the future
I'd say friends, or at least just on super friendly terms. I've visited Japan twice now and easily made friends with guys in the car community (despite not even being able to speak more than a few random Japanese words/phrases). I think many car community fans there are eager to, for one thing meet a foreigner (American in my case), and for another meet someone who is as into car culture as they are, especially JDM car culture. I think for them it's fascinating, and tbh I feel the same way about them; plus, I've become penpals with a bunch of the ones I've met after my trips over Instagram DM's. It's super fun.
They're friends!

I'm so ready for this to become a regular series of upgrading it
Right ive been missing the skyline so this is good
Oath
Im confused hes spending money on this thing? Its clearly never going to be a 'good' car 😂
Pretty cars are so played out, bring on the year of the rust buckets.
First upgrade: drop the drivetrain into a nicer 86
Alexi: Just taking it easy and driving nicely.
5 mins later...
Alexi: *Y E E T*
I have suspicion that the previous owner hardwired the warning lights, for good reason
wonder if it could have been a street racing thing
Maybe
Morita's laughter at the 'loose nut' joke is giving me life. xD
It gets me everytime!!!
4:25 bro punched the rearview mirror 😂
Morita is a freaking wizard. I love seeing people who know a certain thing so damn well.
dont remove the rust, its litertaly the only thing that holds it toghter!
I was lucky with both my ae86 they were cali cars with zero rust 👍 I miss them dearly 😢
Christopher Rea mines a hawaiian rust bucket but I love her dearly
Yeah take way to many washing machines to patch up all that rust 🤣🤣
There is a a lot of car in that rust
III Vance yeah i was thinking the same thing
8:30 we have the same exact phrase in Russia only it's "the gasket between the seat and the steering wheel".
I guess car language is international.
same in lithuania

I want to do something like this guy in the future just enjoy driving around
If there would be a track around me that allows drifting (or in general) AND its free on sundays, I'd be there all day. Sadly I dont live in japan.
BigBen there’s loads of tracks in the UK which have amateur drift days
BigBen yeah sadly there’s none here in the good’ol philippines
Get enough friends, car people together and start an auto club with the goal of building your own track.
PlainHighDrifter PlainHighDrifter Hopefully I can do that. I’m just 15 hoping for the best future I can make for myself.
I’m gonna sound like an absolute dork but the wall climb looked like Ryosuke’s bank climb in Initial D Fifth stage lol.
I thought that too!
More like knower of all things here! You must be the next Takumi :P
@@ReignofStorms no that's just paying attention
Literally tho lol
"the pockets are NOT mint" HE SAID THE THING
Loving the “Health Hazard” 86 content
'Health Hazard' is a great name for it.
Let this be the actual name for it please
He need to put a sticker in the same font as the support violent driving on it. I wish i had the skills
Legend says, emergency lights on AE86 are still on
@8:40
As someone who has watched WAY too many Japanese videos with sub par captions and Google translate having aneurysms, it was oddly satisfying seeing his analytical Japanese mind try and churn through an English saying. Makes me feel less inadequate knowing it goes both ways. :D
“The pocket is not mint I’m afraid.”
I cried in lads language
Got holes in me poked me lad!
the juicebox lads should love this haha
The pockets are not mint lad 🤣
I thought the same thing once I saw him get it.
I like how you "fixed it" then crash it in the EXACT SAME way again LOOOL
It's hard to fix the part between chair and steering wheel

Hey Alexi idk if you'll even see this comment but i just want to say been watching your content ever since forever and you inspired me and my mates to go out in a an automatic, Maruti Suzuki celerio, handbrake drifting the other night and we had a blast even though it wasnt really drifting! Haha
Love and respect all the way from Nagaland!
I put Mcdonalds trays under the rear wheels of my Maruti 800 in the Tesco parking lot. Most fun you can have for free!

seems to be tradition now for it to go in the dirt once every time out
It dreams of being a rally car
Holy hell I love Morita. What a genuine great guy. I need more people like him in my life.
I’d love to see this mini series keep going. Seeing the AE86 going through so many changes is amazing
I love that you can b.s. with all the legends of drift in Japan like you do! Too cool man.
Hearing him say "the pockets are not mint" was unexpected
Happy you show the process even the crashes!
Can’t wait for more of the 86 build and test sessions. I really love being able to see your thought process on what parts your upgrading
11:00 I skipped around the video to this part and was like "Damn Alexi's killin it! ...oh wait nvm"
That Irish style one is awesome! They use Superlite or Minilite wheels though but they're very similar.
can't wait to see this project growing step by step! NICE!
This is turning into a great series!! Keep it coming 😎
lives in Japan orders Seat rails for a japan car overseas ... wait a minute !
Going back from your 86 to Hert's 86 is hilarious, you've already got more seattime tho
I love this content, hope you keep posting progress growing alongside this 86 project man keep it up!
Nice work, look forward to seeing more !
I'm here watching grinning like a little kid while at the same time being so god damn jealous.
Takumi's first laps in a hachiroku xD
Awesome vlog. Really fun to see videos with this car again. Looking forward to the next video. Keep up the good work.
Great video Alexi!
I’ve wanted to have an AE86 probably since i passed my driving test (best part of a decade) and i’ve never been able to find exactly what i wanted in the UK. Took the plunge and asked a UK importer this week to get a ballpark figure for importing one. Was a bit of a sharp intake through the teeth moment but im determined to get on in my life. Because after all, you dont get to take your money with you and life is too short. Keep up the great work!!
08:31 I cant stop replaying this bit
I was gonna say you need bigger tires on the back. I didnt even notice the front was bigger till the other guy was driving 👑🎌
LOOOOOVE the Irish style 86! So awesome to see something like that in Japan 🤘
So stoked to see Alexi playing with a now (old) chassis again, really hoping to see more of it!
The new door just laying down on the rocks 😂👌🏻
Same thought at first, then it seemed so Alexi style lol.
That #beans86 loves that track's walls
The way it sounds it amazing though 😍
I just got my rusty death trap of a Corolla back on the road, and I can feel that'll same excitement. So good.
You're killing it, dude!
This is my favorite content. Absolute aces, just a man and his lovable death trap
If all the wiring and stuff is Altezza, the hazards flashing is probably the alarm system

welcome to the the corolla game!
10:56 That 3SGE just Screams so good!!
I like this little nugget you got, glad you are saving it, looking forward to a lot more of it on here!!
I wish there were open track events like this in the UK I'd love to see how far I could push my car on something wider than a single track lane
Plenty of spots in UK, driftland was built in this exact style
ah too bad it's all the way up in Scotland down here in Cheshire all the tracks are super restrictive on what types of cars are allowed on the tracks and it's usually only for sports cars and super cars at least as that's what it's like at Oulton park
Three Sisters
damn thanks I didn't actually realise there were any that close by
can you give me the name of this track? i didn't understood it at the begining

Thank god for the new Video!
Damn I love a good project. Looking forward to more content.
Watching your content is so fun, this and Juicebox is tons better then any other "Jdm content creators" to call it that, so much more "legit". Well done Alexi, from one car and jdm enthusiast to another, this makes me so happy to watch, smiling trough the whole video. You can't post content often enough about car lifestyle in Japan.
Your mechanic/track janitor is one hilarious character!
Omg this 'new' AE86 of yours has got me in stitches in your lastest episodes LOL
So interesting to watch about this 86. Like it a lot
Love your videos!! Keep it up!
that crash is exactly what it looked like when i learned drifting in assetto corsa, glad you were ok!
"Not a hillclimb" had me in stitches. great content mate
I wish we had mechanics like him around here. Someone so good they don’t need the expensive machines. Fast, efficient, and I bet he’s a wealth of knowledge.
I love your videos lol. Motivates me to learn to drift
Dam it’s Friday morning off to work but I for sure will tune in at lunch dropped a like !! Love the ae86 content !
One of my favorite things to do is to pick up some rusted or crashed heap and do something fun or unpredictable with it. I love your old junky 86. I'm subscribing to you just for that. Well done! I cant wait to see what else you do with it.
