Rare nighttime lightning over Cottonwood, Calif. in the northern Sacramento Valley. 6 5 23 1

Under a very unusual easterly flow, this thunderstorm organized near sunset east of Redding and produced a major lightning display for almost two hours until well after dark over an approx. 20mi. area.
All videos taken from my back deck in the hills east of Cottonwood. Many of the bolts were directly overhead spanned past the visible frame.
