Meh, unimpressive. Also, the ‘southbound’ is to Georgia not Hollywood. The band would wretch at the idea of taking any ride to the stink of Hollywood.
Hmm, your grasp of history is pretty Meh. The first tour year of MTB I opened, 1976, shows that they played in Hollywood and also Los Angles.
And, maybe, Marcus was just acknowledging the audience instead of professing his love for Hollywood.
@ Ok…having been to a city in the past (especially that distant and in an era clearly bygone) does not disprove a current unwillingness to travel to or reside within the boundaries of said city.
Acknowledgement of a crowd at the expense of lyrical integrity is only acceptable if done by the writer of the song. This is especially true given the artist at hand. Marcus is a fine guitar player, but by no means exceptional. He is even less credible as a lyricist.

Again, faulty peasant logic; one does not have to be a writer or guitar player to recognize strengths or weaknesses in a product based upon review of a larger sample. God damn. Just mentally bankrupt argumentation.
