I loved making this, but I will have you know the raw version was 4 hours and 35 minutes!! I had to cut a lot of dialogue (understandably) so I hope the story still makes enough sense if you’re not gonna catch the full vods. Please do, though!

1.- I never thought about the fact that Morita had full control over Yagami even though he was actively struggling, truly the Yakuza series still going strong with the whole "the older they are, the more op they'll be"
2.- this one is a bit spoilery for lost judgement, but it feels great to see Yagami slowly coming to love his detective work, from being a way to atone for his mistakes and almost like a punishment, to loving it and acknowledging how much joy it actually brings him to do these odd jobs, it's great

Judgement has the best Story out of Judgement and Lost Judgement

Unfortunately not likely to happen :/ To the best of my memory, the talent agency for Yagami's actor was not a fan of the games being on PC (since it means it's possible to mod Yagami's model). To my knowledge talks between Yagami & his management and Sega stalled, or have ended and they couldn't come to an agreement. It's why they released the Kaito files so that they could give Kaito proper closure to his character, in case no more Judgment games could be made. If I got any of that wrong feel free to correct, basing it purely on what I remember being reported on a year and a half ago

@@kvltovpersonality6290 The talent agency he's in has been kinda disbanded and is now focusing on recompensating the victims that were badly affected in terms of treatment when working under the agency (S. Harassment etc. this news is kind of a huge deal there in Japan) Currently Yagami's actor isn't under any agency (I think) unless stated. Some rumors say the actors under that agency have a choice to leave the agency and become indie or be migrated to a new agency. IIRC.
@@kvltovpersonality6290 about that: Leadership at the talent agency of Yagamis actor changed because a higher up passed away which basically was the reason Judgment could finally make it to PC and also makes it a real possibility again for Judgment 3 (if it ever happens) to have Yagami again as the protag.
This was my first Yakuza(ish) game and it got me into the series in a big way. The first chapter is a slog but when you get past that you get a really wild and awesome detective story with great plot twists and political intrigue. So happy to see a highlight of this game so soon.

Funny how Ray predicted that Kaito would know Kiryu, seeing as how the two will meet in Gaiden. Just depends on whether or not its a part of the game that takes place before Judgment.

0:35 In the US its judgment but in the UK/Canada it's both! judgment means the court style where as with the E is the non-court judgement.

heyo!!!! i think mostly the change came when his buddy shiz was like "hey man this game is actually good" because shiz does not like annnnnny game really and so ray decided to play it again and the rest is history!

To be fair; you can spell the word Judgment with and without the middle e. Try it out, you won't get auto-corrected for writing Judgment or Judgement. Unfortunately for Ray in this case this game is spelled Judgement
