What’s kept him going with this is the characters, comedy, karaoke, and other stuff he likes in these outweighing his dislikes. Plus his first time round he didn’t realize they take a little while to get going narrative wise.

It's great. I got into the series back in January. I'm at 4. Ray's just cruising through the games like it's nothing.
