I'm 59 and just got the bike! I also fly rc planes and I have a rock crawler also. I just bought the real thing a Gas Gas TXT 300 trials bike. Like the other guy said, never too old to have fun. I love the MX bike but I'd love to see an RC trials bike too. Just like Rock crawling but on 2 wheels

We need a real paddle and a front mohawk tire for the sand! I tried a 3D-printed paddle and a front 3D-printed Mohawk tire and it was insanely awesome! The front Mohawk is a must and the front tire washes out. It's a slick with a sharp point like a mohawk on it. Please make them, Proline! The Tire Goats!

I hope someone tests the holeshots in comparison with the stock tires. I'd like to see how they differ.
I have all the tires they make so far :) Stock Losi dirt bike tires are the best for traction in dirt and grass, but really tear up a grass yard. The holeshots are super nice on non wet grass and nice on cement but the rear will wear quickly on the road. For a backyard you don’t want to damage, a holeshot rear with a Losi MX front is the best for front traction and good grip.
Vitavon makes a great dirt or trail tire exactly like Badlands. Also a really nice full sized street set of tires, also very nice

Any way to take the lame training wheel things off? Would it completely ruin it? Or could I just throw some skid plates on
they are adjustable and can come off but they do help it lean . without them it could get caught in the ground and crash
There will probably be some creative aftermarket parts that come out for the skids/wheels as well. I think this thing is going to be popular.

Yeah, they’re held on with screws, just like everything else on the bike. Of course they can come off.
Honestly, they are cheesy, but those wheels are somewhat needed on something like this.. it’s just the nature of it. Or you’d have a beat up looking bike fairly quickly.

Losi direct makes all and more that you said it’s all on horizon hobby site but pre order. The parts they make are crazy for them aluminum machined anodized hubs, triple clamps

They should make the outriggers activate with the remote so if you lay it down you can use thems to stand it up so you dont have to go get it .

Proline come on! We want a mean dirt tire, with a lot higher tread pattern ! Like your Iterco Black Mamba would be perfect big knobby s.o.b, These dirt tires you guys made look like there for carpet racing! Not gonna help much in higher grass in gravel! 😅
The stock tires should be pretty good for grass and gravel. Proline’s Holeshot tires are meant for prepped dirt tracks. There will plenty of tire choices soon, and I’m sure one of them will suit you.

Watch the in depth engineering video that Losi released. Years of R&D went into it, and the parts are top quality.
This isn’t some toy-grade, gimmicky POS. Losi most likely couldn’t sell it for much less while still turning a decent profit.
Start saving
You can get it for $550 if you get the blue or red one that doesn’t come with battery and charger. Still just beyond what I am ready to spend on an RC bike, but resistance is futile.
Slowline.. a month later and still no Supermoto wheels to be had.
