Nice review man! I have contemplated getting one of these but idk....I have been running all of my cars a ton lately...idk what I want next lol...I havent bought a new rc in a few years...so I think it's about time I spoil myself lol
Very nice video Man! Thank you so much for a very good review of this RC. I will get my tomorrow, and know now that i shall not drive on asphalt i think😂✌Great
@@tittentei7331 I don’t think shorties will work because the connector wires need to be pretty long to reach where it plugs into the esc. Plus the way most shorties are laid out with the bullet connections on each side of the pack get in the way when closing the battery hatch
@@theRCelement Thanks man! But must i use battery that are 50c or more? Or can i use a 5000 Mah with only 30c? I have not tried it yet because it stands on the box that you can buy spectrums battery with 50c. But they are pretty expensive in my country:) I have order two battery that i know will work. But i want to test it now, when the sun is up. Haha
Agreed! I still take it out weekly because it’s different and unique. Not something I would run everyday. Only when I first got it I ran pack after pack lol. Still super fun though🤟
You really shouldnt tell people to charge thier lipos on nmhi that will start a fire 🔥!!!! Yes you can charge for a few minutes a lipo on the nimhi setting but never keave it alone and constantly check r heat
@@davidhuffaker4559 Yeah I guess I should have went into more detail about using that method only to bring the battery back to a detectable voltage. For people new to the hobby or to that fix. I have used that method probably over 20 times over the years with great success. It really only takes a few minutes to get the voltage back up to about 3 volts per cell. Then I never ever leave. I keep a close eye on it. I usually only charge at like 1 amp to bring the voltage back up
I did say that the chain either stretched or the tensioner bushings wore out. According to Losi’s own chain maintenance video the chain should be pretty tight compared to a real dirt bike. If it’s not somewhat tight then the chain slaps the swing arm like crazy and is very annoying
@@theRCelement properly tensioned my dirtbike chain does the same thing but you can hardly hear it because of the braaaap But thanks for the OCD alert I'll prepare myself for the sound of that and the gyro for my RC dirtbike After watching the whole video I have to say very comprehensive breakdown of the little shortcomings I do wish it could backflip maybe in like an expert mode because I have had Gyro dirt bikes in the past that could backflip But I did get a backup chain and I'm keeping it off payment thanks
@@jgrc73 Yeah my Honda XR600R chain is pretty loose. I think the proper tension is like 4 fingers between the chain and the swing arm. But like you said, you can’t hear much of the chain slap because of the engine and exhaust
Not being a dick… but that chain is too tight brother… when you have it that tight it stretches faster and will start binding and messing up your sprocket
@@RC-Closer1313 I thought it might be too tight as well. Because my real dirt bikes have lots of slack in the chain. I followed Losi’s chain tension video🤷🏻♂️ ruclips.net/video/9ENzwToaiyI/видео.htmlsi=qFe_pnUBVGjFW8vB
What are you referring to? Accidentally leaving the battery plugged in after use? You’ve never accidentally done this? Ever? I find that hard to believe
@@theRCelementdoes the smart function of the battery still work? I left a pack plugged in on my SCX6 and the charger no longer recognizes the pack even after bringing it back up in voltage. Expensive mistake.
I'm deeply unimpressed with it I've seen a lot of videos including this one saying it was cool and I just don't agree . looks cool though not as cool as my real one it's really not very much fun so yeah if you're a grown-up and you ride in and you're expecting something awesome you're gonna be absolutely letdown I had some thing a bunch of years ago from target I bought for my kid that was way funner than this and it wasn't $600 it was 100 I'm done with Losi everything, what an extreme letdown.
Sorry to hear that man. Well I always wanted a RC motorcycle. But all the hobby grade ones in the past were terrible for the most part. So this one is far superior to all the ones in the past. Still not perfect by a long shot. But it’s a great start. I think the location where you run it makes a huge difference. I mostly run mine on flat smooth dirt with plenty of room to turn around. It can be frustrating if you’re cramped for space. That will definitely make someone hate it. Thanks for your input though👍
Love your Channel man, keep up the great work and videos, I’m mainly an Rc heli enthusiast but I do enjoy all aspects of the hobby.

It kinda rides ok, but the novelty wears quick. Especially if you have ridden a full-size bike.
