I saw this level originally like 9 months ago during the decorating progress stuff and I never imagined this being a top 1 that Zoink would end up verifying lmao. Btw this is a really cool level especially considering you just made it by yourself.
I really like this level. It stands out because it's ocean themed and I'm pretty sure there are 0 levels on the main list that are ocean themed. it doesn't only use wave ship and cube with really generic structures and it's longer than 1:30. It even uses swingcoopter which you almost never see. Definitely one of my favorite upcoming top 10s. It's insane to think one person built all of this
Literally my exact creative vision of the kind of level I would make if I had any building skill at all. Love everything about it and can’t wait to play some super nerfed version. Hard to believe it was built by one dude. Amazing job and keep it up

The name of the meme is tidal wave jumpscare basically what happens is that there is shown a gameplay of geometry dash main levels and easy levels but then when they go to the good part then a tidal wave screen part is used to catch them off guard😂😂😂😂

It annoys the hell out of me when you see yt kids on their iPad who’s hardest is dry out complaining about this level’s deco by comparing it to several month long megacollabs. To me, it’s incredible that you managed to build 3 minutes of entertaining gameplay (which is hella hard for a nine circles level to do) and decorate it thematically (and honestly WAY better than 95% of levels rated epic nowadays) all by yourself. Especially for a solo creator, this is an incredible level and I look forward to seeing it at the top of the demonlist.
Twitter is way worse than yt bro ngl.. Atleast here in yt comment section 90% of people are saying good stuff about the level but in twitter oh god the complete opposite, they're disgusting 😂 maybe its because its a Zoink verification but still, this is the creator's first solo built it doesn't deserve so much hate and yk level isn't even verified yet but haters would like this level to not get a rate immediately and whats more disappointing was, the insult came from a creator/host as well who thinks themselves as the greatest and thinks of their level as the best (Vehemence) which is mid 🥱 Looks like im mad but im not, im just disappointed
I really love this level man. Its such a breath of fresh air from all those red /dark /hell themed demons. Im so mad that it didnt get rated yet. I feel like this was one of the most creative top levels. The demon list really needed this...
This is looking absolutely amazing! the gameplay has great flow, and the theming is very well executed. It still looks like it needs some deco polishing in spots though.
Man your level is awesome, it makes me very happy seeing this level bc of the theme and the song, i know it's super hard but honestly this is a level i will remember even if people make more difficult ones I hope the next level is just as good if not better

I find it weird to ask him directly but I think he really likes the level. But him getting 90,91,92,94 and 95 might lower the enjoyment rating (nothing to do with level rating)
I don't really get why people question this level. I think it's great and although the deco isn't groundbreaking, i think it's pretty good keep up the good work!
The gameplay The non wave/straightfly parts are not the worst, but just way too fast (I dislike most 4x speed gameplay) The wave parts and the ship parts felt like I've seen something really similar to this in other levels

It is what it is, no deco, extremely unbalanced, extremely frustrating to play, extremely awful gameplay, which is so insanely bad to the point where it's actually kind if difficult to build a worse level than it. This level has it's own unique decoration, it's very unique because it's a Beach themed Top 1 XL solo level, the gameplay is alright, deco is kinda meh in some parts, but I mostly like it.
i love tidal wave, its honestly such a break from the hell theme [no hate against it] but finnaly seeing a bright blue and yellow coloured [my fav colours] lvl just makes me happy and plus it introduced me to shiwase vip that song i like a lot now and have listed to it constantly thankks for making this onilink

We haven’t had a beach/ocean themed demon list entry in a while, if this is top 1 this will be the best top one since Firework (I am a firm believer that Firework should’ve been top 1 for two months).
This level looks sick as fuck and while I’m nowhere near good enough to get any kind of progress on it I might try it out just to see if I can get any kind of run on it :) sick job yo
I love pretty much every aspect of thus level (music, difficult gameplay, etc) and I think that this level deserves to be top 1 demon for a while. I can’t wait to see who will verify it first

My problems with this level: > deco looks copy pasted, and in a really obvious way > there are very few pulses, and the pulses that are there are not as powerful (can’t think of another word for it at the moment) as they should be (try pulsing to greens or purples) > it looks static (again, add pulses. pulses go a LONG way)
this level is an absolute banger and when verified, it will be like a refreshment to the top 10 (excluding Kyouki and LIMBO) with the great execution of an uncommon theme and great sync! Love it so much!
This level is okay in my opinion, but I couldn't help but feel like the level looked unpolished and unfinished when watching it. Most of the parts look fine enough but most of the colours don't match well with each other. The structuring is a bit too simple for the theme I think, it's just squares and slopes. Another criticism I have is that a lot of the level feels quite static and boring. Barely anything pulses in the climax of the song, and it loses its intensity as a result. Something as simple as making the sun in the background pulse and light up the sky and sea around it would have been cool. However, I will say that difficult levels like this don't come around often, and I really do appreciate the theme and progression. Pair this with the fact that this is basically a solo gives it extra points. Overall, this level is a 6/10. Some specific areas for improvement would be from 0:23 - 0:36, where I think adding some intense pulses, synced inputs, speed changes and shake triggers to the music really would've added to the first predrop. Even just a large glow overlay over the screen pulsing to the more intense beats would have worked considering the fact that those intense beats are the most noticable thing in that part of the song. The best thing to do there in my opinion would be to add debris falling and shakes with the more intense beats, almost as if the cave were collapsing in on itself. From 0:36 to the drop, I think the level should have slowed down to 1x speed and gradually speed up with the music. I also think that the ship part should have intense pulses. However, other than that this is a pretty good section. From 0:53 to 1:15 (the first drop), considering the fact that it gives Nine Circles vibes and that it's the song's first drop, you should've went all in with the pulses and movements. The block designs here are actually really good and well detailed, but yet again the lack of pulses lets it down. The level should be bursting with energy, like maybe adding some aquatic wildlife jumping and swimming in the foreground could be cool. 1:15 to 1:27 quite annoys me because of the black glow. Not only does it obscure the gameplay but it also acts as a lazy way to disguise the lack of detail and makes the level look muddy. My advice is to remove the black glow. 1:28 - 1:41 also annoys me because of the missed potential. The level could have had a parallax scrolling background with the sea and sky, and the Sun could have been behind it all, half set and pulsing to the music. Right now it looks very one dimensional and muddy because of the excess glow. The yellow block design colours also don't match very well either, you should have stuck to the blue blocks used their darker variants from later in the part. 1:41 - 1:56 A lot of suggestions from the previous section carry over here, including the background, which I think could benefit from a bit of change. I think that slowing down the gameplay and speeding it up with time would have been better rather than just staying at 4x speed. (Also I just find it funny how the last part before the predrop is just a bunch of spikes floating awkwardly on rotating saw objects lol, might wanna fix that) 1:56 - 2:06 Much like the first drop, the second one also lacks energy and intensity. However one thing I will say is that it is better than the first because of more movement and a few more pulses, however it is still lacking. The water in the foreground also needs more detail because right now it's just default water blocks and rotating saw objects for the detail. 2:06 - 2:19 Okay, this part's actually one of the best in the level (and one of my favorites). The gameplay perfectly matches the song's intensity and speed, and keeps everything interesting and all of the effects (and what looks to be the gameplay) sync to each later of the song which I love. 2:19 - 2:22 Real quick, I think this little mini transition could have a better entrance. Instead of just fading to black, the player enters a small cave opening, goes through it and exits the other side, transitioning to the next part. 2:22 - 2:45 Once again, the wave part seems to disappoint compared to what just came before. It lacks the pulses and sync the last part had. Most of my criticisms are in my previous observations. Also I don't like the look of the yellow designs, they do look less appealing than the blue ones. 2:45 - 2:57 This is tied with the other part for my favorite. This part is quite appealing looking visually. The only things I could say against it are that the stagnant blue light rays coming up from the ground don't match the colours of everything else. ALSO WHY IS THERE A BLACK BAR BENEATH WHERE THE OCEAN IS I HATE IT SO MUCHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH 2:57 - End: Okay, this endscreen isn't terrible but once again, the background could have more movement and visuals. Not bad though. I'm sorry if I ever came off as rude during any of this, I really do appreciate the effort it must have taken to create all of this by yourself. It's just the fact that I see so much potential in this level. Also I know it's dumb that I wrote all of this for a GD level lol. If you did read all the way through this, thanks for reading.
hard to believe that it's already been a year since i made this comment, however I've come around a lot more to this level, and with the improvements you made in the verified version, it's become one of my new favourite levels, looking forward to Tsunami :)
I have a lot of bad things to say about this but I cant really formulate it into constructive critisism so I wont. I think best tip I can give you is it needs WAY more veriaty. Most parts look like they are a carbon copy of eachother even when they are not. And also the fact that the song feels completely disconnected from the level. Like most people I do think the last part is a big improvement over the rest of the level though.

I’m alone and the level is 3min long it takes times to decorate something like that. And it’s not a collab there’s 12 part in the level and I can’t do 12 completely different part alone like nobody did that idk what y’all excepted from me
you can have your own opinion and whatnot, but if you call this level "ugly" I am completely disagreeing with you. the deco on this level is INCREDIBLE, yet people still complaining bc it's not completely perfect in every way. yall know how much worse it could be? you can't expect everything to be like emerald realm and whatnot. if decorating is so easy let's see you try to do better

And move triggers are harder than you think but im pretty sure you don't even know how to use it in it's full potential And deco is not everything ok

@@nkcu Given the hate of the tidal wave, and the general lack of creating skills oni displayed with tidal wave made it much worse for the level and in turn made it look like it was an actual poorly made level, so nobody wanted it rated. yes it’s technically possible it can be rated but i highly doubt it

My problems with this level:
> deco looks copy pasted, and in a really obvious way
> there are very few pulses, and the pulses that are there are not as powerful (can’t think of another word for it at the moment) as they should be (try pulsing to greens or purples)
> it looks static (again, add pulses. pulses go a LONG way)

this level is an absolute banger and when verified, it will be like a refreshment to the top 10 (excluding Kyouki and LIMBO) with the great execution of an uncommon theme and great sync! Love it so much!

This level is okay in my opinion, but I couldn't help but feel like the level looked unpolished and unfinished when watching it. Most of the parts look fine enough but most of the colours don't match well with each other. The structuring is a bit too simple for the theme I think, it's just squares and slopes. Another criticism I have is that a lot of the level feels quite static and boring. Barely anything pulses in the climax of the song, and it loses its intensity as a result. Something as simple as making the sun in the background pulse and light up the sky and sea around it would have been cool. However, I will say that difficult levels like this don't come around often, and I really do appreciate the theme and progression. Pair this with the fact that this is basically a solo gives it extra points. Overall, this level is a 6/10.
Some specific areas for improvement would be from 0:23 - 0:36, where I think adding some intense pulses, synced inputs, speed changes and shake triggers to the music really would've added to the first predrop. Even just a large glow overlay over the screen pulsing to the more intense beats would have worked considering the fact that those intense beats are the most noticable thing in that part of the song. The best thing to do there in my opinion would be to add debris falling and shakes with the more intense beats, almost as if the cave were collapsing in on itself.
From 0:36 to the drop, I think the level should have slowed down to 1x speed and gradually speed up with the music. I also think that the ship part should have intense pulses. However, other than that this is a pretty good section.
From 0:53 to 1:15 (the first drop), considering the fact that it gives Nine Circles vibes and that it's the song's first drop, you should've went all in with the pulses and movements. The block designs here are actually really good and well detailed, but yet again the lack of pulses lets it down. The level should be bursting with energy, like maybe adding some aquatic wildlife jumping and swimming in the foreground could be cool.
1:15 to 1:27 quite annoys me because of the black glow. Not only does it obscure the gameplay but it also acts as a lazy way to disguise the lack of detail and makes the level look muddy. My advice is to remove the black glow.
1:28 - 1:41 also annoys me because of the missed potential. The level could have had a parallax scrolling background with the sea and sky, and the Sun could have been behind it all, half set and pulsing to the music. Right now it looks very one dimensional and muddy because of the excess glow. The yellow block design colours also don't match very well either, you should have stuck to the blue blocks used their darker variants from later in the part.
1:41 - 1:56 A lot of suggestions from the previous section carry over here, including the background, which I think could benefit from a bit of change. I think that slowing down the gameplay and speeding it up with time would have been better rather than just staying at 4x speed. (Also I just find it funny how the last part before the predrop is just a bunch of spikes floating awkwardly on rotating saw objects lol, might wanna fix that)
1:56 - 2:06 Much like the first drop, the second one also lacks energy and intensity. However one thing I will say is that it is better than the first because of more movement and a few more pulses, however it is still lacking. The water in the foreground also needs more detail because right now it's just default water blocks and rotating saw objects for the detail.
2:06 - 2:19 Okay, this part's actually one of the best in the level (and one of my favorites). The gameplay perfectly matches the song's intensity and speed, and keeps everything interesting and all of the effects (and what looks to be the gameplay) sync to each later of the song which I love.
2:19 - 2:22 Real quick, I think this little mini transition could have a better entrance. Instead of just fading to black, the player enters a small cave opening, goes through it and exits the other side, transitioning to the next part.
2:22 - 2:45 Once again, the wave part seems to disappoint compared to what just came before. It lacks the pulses and sync the last part had. Most of my criticisms are in my previous observations. Also I don't like the look of the yellow designs, they do look less appealing than the blue ones.
2:45 - 2:57 This is tied with the other part for my favorite. This part is quite appealing looking visually. The only things I could say against it are that the stagnant blue light rays coming up from the ground don't match the colours of everything else.
ALSO WHY IS THERE A BLACK BAR BENEATH WHERE THE OCEAN IS I HATE IT SO MUCHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
2:57 - End: Okay, this endscreen isn't terrible but once again, the background could have more movement and visuals. Not bad though.
I'm sorry if I ever came off as rude during any of this, I really do appreciate the effort it must have taken to create all of this by yourself. It's just the fact that I see so much potential in this level. Also I know it's dumb that I wrote all of this for a GD level lol. If you did read all the way through this, thanks for reading.

hard to believe that it's already been a year since i made this comment, however I've come around a lot more to this level, and with the improvements you made in the verified version, it's become one of my new favourite levels, looking forward to Tsunami :)

I have a lot of bad things to say about this but I cant really formulate it into constructive critisism so I wont. I think best tip I can give you is it needs WAY more veriaty. Most parts look like they are a carbon copy of eachother even when they are not. And also the fact that the song feels completely disconnected from the level. Like most people I do think the last part is a big improvement over the rest of the level though.
Everything is a matter of time and y’all seem to not take that account

@@nkcu Given the hate of the tidal wave, and the general lack of creating skills oni displayed with tidal wave made it much worse for the level and in turn made it look like it was an actual poorly made level, so nobody wanted it rated. yes it’s technically possible it can be rated but i highly doubt it
