I was a very unhappy lad in 1993 and The Cranberries first album was everything to me. It mirrored my mood at the time, offered me a release, and I was obsessed with Dolores from that moment on. Devastated she is gone. Sleep well Limerick girl. X

If you've never heard Harriet Wheeler from the band, the Sundays, you should give them a listen. Simular singing style, but the band never reached the level of success they probably deserved and called it quits. They did a great cover of the song, Wild Horses.
Dreams is her signature song. It's timeless.
She was a big shot but very humble. Her children should be very proud.

Dolores seems like such a humble, down to earth, decent and caring person. If Princess Diana had been allowed to talk about herself openly, I get the impression she might have been a bit like Dolores.
Kudos to all band members for staying grounded and not letting fame destroy them.

I was lucky enough to see her live during the "No need to Argue" tour. It was fantastic , It was a little festival , along with R.E.M. , Oasis and Belly , next to a lake in beautiful landscape on a warm summer evening.
She was lovely , almost like an elf or an Angel when she was dancing barefoot across the stage in a long white dress.....I never forgot that , her angelic voice still remains.

She played nice music with good voice, I think she made her mark. My brother showed me her different album, he used to play " linger, dreams, no need to urge " she was gifted, Ireland woman. I can't forget her music.

This is a stunningly beautiful, incredibly touching labour of love. Watching here, laughing, singing, crying, singing some more, and smiling and remembering how much I loved her, what her music has meant to me over the years and how I will miss her for decades and be grateful for as long as I'm around that she ever was.

She was a beautiful soul who gave so much love trying to help others. Thats a beautiful thing helping others going through hard times. The band did so much for peace also. Christianity is about repentance, forgiveness and accepting jesus as your lord and saviour. He paid the price for our sin on the cross. The 10 commandments being obeyed is so important so peace, love and truth will make us more conscious, kind and wiser human beings. Music is a great way to unite us.

Wow.....I just bought a cd of The Cranberries after not listening to them for a while (years in fact) and I wanted to Yeat's Grave because it was not on the "album" and was absolutely in shock - heart torn out - to find out that Dolores had passed away last year!!! Fell in love with The Cranberries after watching their MTV Unplugged show (same with LIVE). My God, all we hear about are idiots like the Kardashians, and all the talentless idiots making what many consider "music" and this true wonder passes and I knew nothing about it.

What an awesome tribute! I know it's going to be hard to watch for me though. Very few musicians deaths have affected me like hers.
Like most, I'd heard Zombie and loved the song and the sentiment but more recently I have found myself in absolute awe of Dolores, I wish I'd paid more attention earlier to the band
