This is truly effective! I enjoy listening to speeches that attack the audience with questions that make them want to listen to the rest of the speech.
There are several factors in making a great speech including making it funny interesting and not too long One plan I found which succeeds in merging these is the Marlie speaker blueprint (check it out on google) definately the most useful course that I've seen. Check out this awesome site.
This is indeed very helpful and a good insight. I do believe as well in being 'engaging' when talking so that rather than just spouting facts, figures and ideas you grab the entire audience rather then just a select few that like or understand the figures/ideas your talking about. In a way make it very simple to start off with to get every individual on board and make sure you don't let go of them at any point.
Thank you so much ! I'm definitely going to use your tips ! Wish me luck ! I'm quite nervous too...could u make a video on how to prepare or like what to do before telling the speech..how to remove nervousness etc ??
Always good to ask, but I don't write for other people, I just teach. Stinks waiting til the last minute, I get it though. Good luck. Be passionate, it helps your delivery.
This is glorious, I have been researching "what do speeches help with" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Penayla Dignified Paramountcy - (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? It is a great one off product for discovering how to make a confident speech in english minus the normal expense. Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my co-worker got great results with it.

Thx for sharing this tip. I'm coming close to finish an oral communication class, and as far as I see, my teacher ideas of opening the speech never have a purpose behind rather than just grabbing attention. Guess you really need to learn from the pro.
This is helping me a lot but may I ask, do you ask and start your speech without introducing your name or greeting good morning? Please reply and thank you.
I just realised everything he is saying to do for he introduction i have already done.. does this mean I am a natural speaker? or is it just good luck??

Not sure I agree with "attack" but up to 3 questions (no more) with well-placed pauses in between can be very effective.
