To my knowledge, I think that glossy front piece is where the adaptive cruise control sensor could be. In some other Toyota branded vehicles, they have a somewhat glossy emblem which hides that sensor behind it. I could totally be wrong though but that is my "hypothesis" lol, great review nevertheless!
The gloss black found on the S trims is where the TSS millimeter wave radar is located which is why the logo is elevated up unlike on the L trims it's behind the logo
@@QuickshiftCars My neighbour bought 2 last year. Sure they look nice, but they have yet to prove themselves as dependable as Japanese cars. Maybe dependability has gotten better, but one thing that hasn't is their resale value. I'm not saying their resale won't change in the future, but right now that is the reality. Time will tell...

The gloss is where the radar is for the safety sense. It was in the logo
1:40 bro, you realize that's where they put the radar for the cruse control/collision detection? right?
Thank you Toyota for giving us another manual corolla.
The shield on the front that you speak so negatively about that is the radar screen.
Dude do your research before knocking the the glossy black part of the grill. It houses the radar!
Doesn't matter, it's still ugly. Other manufacturers have found a way to house radars without destroying the look of the car.
I actually own a Red Toyota Corolla 2020 like that.
I do not regret this car. I love it.
@@trashpanda2600 just bought one, love it

Nathaniel McLean I own the same car. You were correct!
I am jealous. The European corolla looks better because of the headlight shape they have.
True! Their design looks so much cleaner.

The SE no longer gets the softex leather with cloth inserts which only on the XSE. Previously the XSE had full softex leather
LoL! that hideous thing your so disappointed at is a safety feature of that model! do some research first.
Lol Amen. My thoughts to the Tee
Great TOYOTA COROLLA 2020 SE love it
I love this Toyota and is it a new hot hatch Toyota made
Yes, it's been redesigned for 2020. It's available as a hatch as well, but not with the SE front fascia 😔
The 1.8 increased horsepower from 132hp to 139hp and of course the 2.0 has more hp
It's got some nice pieces of flare...
Am I high or does half this video look like greenscreen
Looks nice this car is really fast
Unfortunately the Hybrid is only available in the LE trim meaning no sporty hybrid
Davin Peterson sporty hybrid sounds like nazi force ally with US forces.
Sporty and Hybrid don't belong in the same sentence d
SergeTheBlerge, you ever heard of the McLaren P1?
Beautiful I lot nicer than ugly civc
I don't think that lip is functional.
Probably not, but it sure looks cool!
OMG, it's a 2019 Kia Optima.
Kia is cheaper, and lower quality with horrible resale value.
Travis DRZ, Have you seen any of the new Kias? Times are changing, the Korean brands are great now.
