His style, his demeanor, his mannerisms and the way he portrayed his character in that film was absolutely fantastic 👌👌that film actually left a lasting impression in my mind. After that came Kabali, which was also a very good film but for me, Shivaji The Boss will always be the ultimate Rajnikanth film

Kudos bro for mentioning ROBIN WILLIAMS. Till date I think his best performance is from CAPRE DIEM - seize the day. But unfortunately that was a flop. But Mrs. doubtfire is his biggest hit. Same with Rajinikanth. His best performances came from initial 10 years of his career. And that doesn't make him a bad actor. In many ways he is better than kamal hassan. Doing the same thing for like 30 years and still entertaining every time without being monotonous. It's like comparing Marlon Brando with Robert Downey Jr. You appreciate Brando, but you cherish Downey. We Indians connect to normal looking people doing abnormal things, and breaking fourth wall is a habitual tool we use in story telling. Even Prabhu Deva does that in his songs. His songs are all about breaking fourth wall. Our kind of story telling is similar to japanese opera, but better. You've watched MayaBazaar, you should know this, and musicals are our thing. we convey story through imagery supported by background lyrics. And we do it in a playful way that makes genre shifts easier. Also North and South Indian story telling styles are very different even though they both have musicals. North musicals are like Gene Kelly - Fred estaire kind of musicals. South indian musicals are like James brown - MJ kind of musicals. Which is why South indian movies shift genres more easily.

Srk can does a web series on ott( still 0.01% chance ) but surely not TV afcourse who will go back in television if they are in movies and in that position like srk,Irrfan ,vidya balan who already did TV and when comes to srk everybody expects the box office numbers because audience love him to see as entertainer on big screen.. Kudos bro for mentioning ROBIN WILLIAMS. Till date I think his best performance is from CAPRE DIEM - seize the day. But unfortunately that was a flop. But Mrs. doubtfire is his biggest hit. Same with Rajinikanth. His best performances came from initial 10 years of his career. And that doesn't make him a bad actor. In many ways he is better than kamal hassan. Doing the same thing for like 30 years and still entertaining every time without being monotonous. It's like comparing Marlon Brando with Robert Downey Jr. You appreciate Brando, but you cherish Downey. We Indians connect to normal looking people doing abnormal things, and breaking fourth wall is a habitual tool we use in story telling. Even Prabhu Deva does that in his songs. His songs are all about breaking fourth wall. Our kind of story telling is similar to japanese opera, but better. You've watched MayaBazaar, you should know this, and musicals are our thing. we convey story through imagery supported by background lyrics. And we do it in a playful way that makes genre shifts easier. Also North and South Indian story telling styles are very different even though they both have musicals. North musicals are like Gene Kelly - Fred estaire kind of musicals. South indian musicals are like James brown - MJ kind of musicals. Which is why South indian movies shift genres more easily.

Talking about Amitabh Bachchan he is not much talked about as outsider like Akshay,srk and others because Indira Gandhi ( former prime minister of India) had very good relations to his family and recommend big b to lots of directors but it doesn't mean big b didn't struggle or go through financial difficulties but that's why he is not so much talked about as other .Also Rajesh Khanna is also a outsider who won the actors competition ( organized by legendary director,screen writers) among 10000 people and that's how we got Rajesh Khanna and that's craze he brought in the audience never seen before in Dilip Kumar,Dev Anand and the runner up of the competition vindod Mehra also became a successful character actor.Dilip Kumar also a outsider but that's about 40s so that time that was not much difficult to come in movies
Big b also joined politics in mid 80s ( one of the major reason can be his injury on the set of coolie which damaged his lever 75% over the years) so decided to go in politics through Congress party( Indira Gandhi party) and made a record win but left after 3,5 years by the line that's it is a dirty sand ( I forget the English world😅) and back in movies but then his bad phase started ,his movies were not doing well,his business too and again took a break of 5 years in mid 90s but again the same problem. as century changed he came back in hearts with legendary performance in blockbuster Mohabbatein ,k3g and with kaun Banega crorepati but srk just want to do movies
Srk can does a web series on ott( still 0.01% chance ) but surely not TV afcourse who will go back in television if they are in movies and in that position like srk,Irrfan ,vidya balan who already did TV and when comes to srk everybody expects the box office numbers because audience love him to see as entertainer on big screen.. There are some big,great actors who do TV simultaneously but people like above mentioned no.naseerudin Shah too doesn't have problem, he did a cult show in late 80s but that's was the best time of Indian TV serials when srk was doing serials,great directors and great content was their but now Naseeruddin Shah can't do bullshit show he said in Mirza Ghalib we used to shoot 1 episode in one month but now 2 episodes in one day and today 90% Indian TV show are mother in law, daughter in law drama if you will get to know how are most number of serials are you will be like there is nothing for actors like Shahrukh Khan, Naseeruddin Shah and the big one I mentioned who are doing TV are most of females and the same mother in law,daughter in law shows because our mother's love that shows
