The impact rajinikanth has on people is way more than just a movie star. From a common man in Japan to Indian cricket stars to IT tech giants CEOs in chennai everyone takes inspiration from rajini movie dialogues. The new movie stars and big fan following stars cannot match what rajini has done
I dont think vijay and mamutti have that much respect that rajini kanth has earned in japan. Its because of the spiritual messages in his movies said in style rather than commercial hits.
Yeah, I'm not a fan and find some of his movies to be a drag but his flair is undeniable. If you were to make a Top 10 of movie stars ever worldwide, he would easily make the cut.
I mean he plays a autorickshaw driver that doesn't overcharge in Chennai. That in itself is a superpower.
He is a genuine fan, he says Badsha was his favorite movie, I also recommend watching Rajini as villain in Endiran 1&2 to start with..

Watch Rajini's Padayappa. It is my favorite Rajini movie. The noteworthy thing about the film is the iconic villain in it. Ramya Krishnan played as Neelambari, one of the best female villains or villains captured on Indian scene. She also played as Queen Mother Sivagami in Baahubali. In fact, she got that role based on her villain role in Padayappa. Rajinikanth did a stellar job in the movie too. It's just too good to see the Hero and Villain go head to head, while played by two great actors. While a bit diminished, the heroine of the movie was late Soundarya, another legendary actress herself. It is said that she is topped only by Mahanati Savitri herself. Overall, Padayappa (Narasimha in Telugu) is a great and a MUST watch for any movie lovers.
If that wasn't possible, try Muthu or Baasha or Arunachalam. All of them are equally good. You get vintage Rajini from them.
Yeah..would highly recommend to watch padayappa. Vintage rajinikanth movie with nice story and engaging screenplay,alot of goosebumps moment,ar rahman music and etc..
The dialogues in Padayappa are perennial.
The purity of the person is very touching.
make money now a days easy but winning hearts so difficult. create a fan circles it possible by an actor but create a die heart,, loving ,,,more affectionate fans only by rare peoples. Rajinikanth deserves it.

Why would you want to know his least favorite Rajni movie? That's like asking a parent to name their least favorite kid. I am so happy for this super Rajni fan, its great when a movie star can have such a positive impact on a person in a distant land. I am from nearby Kerala but I have never watched a Rajni let alone a Tamil movie. I love the Tamil people very much, so humble, ever so helpful and generous.
Please watch mullum malarum. It's a very old film and very good. I am sure you will love it.

In Malaysia Superstar phenomenon happened during Padayappa movie.. all of my friend watched it on Deepavali night. The next day at school everyone was like Padayappa!! Padayyappa!! Love and thrilled to share their excitement watching it. I think you should watch that first.

Rajinikanth is a phenomenon. We cant measure him with normal acting metrics. He is a magic and out of the logics that our brain processes. I in no way mean to say all his films are great but he certainly has a charisma and if a director knows to get it properly then it would be magic. He is a great character.

One negative character in arunachalam insulted our thalaivar superstar Rajinikanth in the movie....that actor travelled from one part of tamilnadu to other part in train....one fan get to know that she is travelling in the train ...so that thalaivar fan lying on the train tack and refused to get up and asked her to say sorry to thalaivar ...otherwise I never allow you to travel....then she say sorry and he allow her to travel.....she is done her acting but we never allowed anyone to insulted our thalaivar......that much we love and respect our thalaivar 😍😍😍😍😍
