You are SUCH A WEALTH of information. And Ilove google maps - I can browse places for long time, street mode and all. Love the music part, but I have all my music in a local folder in .mp3's - I have no music media services, in addition to all the ads they push, I am on a limited data plan.
Great info as usual. I preferred the drop down blackcoloured arrows you've used previously to point out site references you're describing. I find the yellow highlighting you used in this vid more difficult to see and it disappeared before I could find the item you were referring to. Love ur vids though.
I just laughed at the options on the train icon. A big joke, from my perspective. Search for 'Riemvasmaak' or 'Vanwyksvlei' to see what I mean. I use offline maps, as we don't have cloud cover everywhere. The desert still isn't user friendly. 😂😊
@@TasiaCustode I don’t know I’m a chauffeur in Duolingo service, and I use my Maps hours on hours every single day seven days a week. And I find the Apple Maps has the best turn by turn navigation the least amount of clutter, but one of they are not so strong points as the map data. The only thing that I like about Google maps if you’re just looking at the map for all data for points of interest, that’s the only area where the XL there turn my turn is actually very terrible and it has taken me to dead ends or spazzed out on more than several occasions. Another example I will give you one time when I was in Tijuana Apple Maps was working flawlessly, and Google maps was having a hard time and there was not even a cellular connection issue.
@@TasiaCustode give Apple Maps a try for turn by turn. They’ve made huge strides in very little time. I’m putting my $ on Apple to win the maps way. They’ve got way more money to spend then google and buying out so many startups as they integrate all of it into future iterations of maps. Not to mention privacy. Something google doesn’t care about when collecting data from consumers

Just found your channel. Love it!
Many thanks! Glad you like it 😀
Thanks for such great tips Tasia! Is it possible to add my Smart Audiobook Player to maps? That would be wonderful for long road trips.

When did they move the Saved button from the home page and replace it with Contribute. Is there a way to put the Saved button back on the home page?
