I only use Google Maps in my living room on my computer with a large screen. On a motorcycle or in a car I use one of my TomTom GPS navigators. When hiking or sea kayaking I use one of my Garmin GPS navigators. They are much better suited for navigation than the Google Maps app. Google Maps can be good in an emergency or if you dont want to invest in a real navigator.
Can you show how to add a restaurant to the restaurant list? For example I am at a stop sign and I see a restaurant I want to add to a list. Can I click the restaurant and add to list or do I need to go to the list first?
Tap the restaurant name on the map, then slide the menu to the left that contains "directions," "start," "order," "call," "save," then click on save, and add it to a list.
Once you have pulled up directions to a location, instead of pressing "start," tap the hamburger icon next to the starting location, scroll down and click on "set depart or arrival time." For traffic updates, on the home screen, tap the "map layers" icon which looks like a diamond in the upper right and click on traffic. As "smart" as Google Maps is, it cannot provide an "RV Friendly" route to avoid low clearances, bridge weight restrictions, narrow roads, and the like. I find that to be a critical shortfall. Apple Maps and Waze can't provide this feature either. But, there are applications that can.
Wait. Wait. Instead of being mean because im annoyed by how i can only understand two of your words out of every sentence. I will give you some valuable advice. Slow down. English is slower than your own language. That means we can understand you and you have more time to pronounce the words correctly. Then after you have learned the other half of pronounciation of english words then you can zip through your words and i promise we will understand you. I wrote the long version so you can understand these tips. Best of luck to you.

#9 multiple stops: gmaps does not note live traffic as it does with 1 stop. Can serious affect ETDs and ETAs!
