Oh Yeah, I Want One... 2025 Ford Mustang GTD

- Ford just dropped a bombshell and they're calling it the Mustang GTD (Grand Touring Daytona) and yes, I want one. I'll cross all my fingers and toes and do the only thing I have control over. Save up some coin! This will be a 2025 year model and deliveries might start late 2024/early 2025.
The GTD is the street-legal version of the Mustang GT3 built for endurance racing and to go back to Le Mans next year. Exact HP is unknown bit it will be over 800 horsepower coming from a modified 5.2L supercharged "predator" V8 engine from the 2020-22 Shelby GT500. It will feature active aero, a dual clutch transaxle, magnesium wheels, titanium exhaust, and much more. Price is unconfirmed but is rumored to be around $300,000 and to be built in small volume. Ford will sell these via an application process similar to the Ford GT. What are your thoughts? Personally, I'm going to do what I can to secure one.
Thanks for watching! - Авто/Мото

I wish Ford could figure out a cost effective way to incorporate widebody fenders on the regular Mustang. It's such a good look, makes the car look so much better.
I'm sure they're will more more editions to come@@christenn32
is it going to be enough to own a CFTP to get ford to let you buy this thing? i sure hope.. (doubt it)
@@rtreyk Who knows, I bought my 2017 GT350 over 6 years ago and, my raptor 5 years ago, and 2 more GT500s in the last 2 years and still have them all. That in combination with some social media going on, COTA in my backyard, we shall see!
@@TexasRevving you're guaranteed bro. I got nothing but a heritage edition track pack that I've driven on street and track. Not even a Ford truck :(
Used to have a terminator I guess.
I feel like I have a 0% chance even though I can absolutely afford it. Very sad
you definitely need this car if u keep all your cars you might havw the best collection 😂
I bought a GT350HE based off of your recommendation. Wish this channel would upload more. Beautiful collection!
Definitely have some videos planned here very soon, thanks for the kind words!
You have great taste.
This came out of left field / Wow ... Ford with 300k Mustang looks sick! Hope you can obtain one from Ford! Love the GTD💯🤛
Can't wait to see more information about the GTD, I rooting for you hopefully they see your application and your garage and grant you an allocation.
I think of the GTD as a Ford GT on a Mustang body in terms of performance and exclusivity. Can't wait to see it tracked.
New sub, glad I found you. Cali Petrol Head > West Texas 2020, not one of "them."
Can't wait to see you get this 🙏🏾🙏🏾
Crossing all fingers and toes!
I’ve been watching you for 3 years now, I’m not sure how your sleeping lol. Wheels turning to the extreme. Thinking the real estate licence will come in handy when looking for a bigger garage. Thanks and look the vids.
Not sleeping much that's for sure ;D
With you talking about the Mustang GTD, it seems to me that you are thinking of buying one of them. Is that true, or do you only want to add content for your regular viewers? No, I'm not angry at you. You need to add content to them. I'm certainly glad you did this because it will be the most incredible Mustang you'll be able to buy. The company that will add carbon fiber body panels, front and rear suspension in addition to other components is up here in this province of Ontario is named Multimatic, which is located in the city called Markham. That city is additionally a part of the Greater Toronto Area or GTA. As you well know, it's going to be a monster of a performance car. What do you think about that transmission and differential in one case? It'll be a marvel of engineering. Tremec (pronounced tray meck because it's from Mexico) did an excellent job of that unit in that Mustang GTD. The wait for it to go to Deutschland or Germany will be completely worth it. Yes, there'll be people who want it immediately except there are other's who'll be waiting patiently until they become available. What do you think about its active aero components? Wow, what a great rear active aero spoiler. I know I typed enough in this message, so I'll type b'bye to you.
P.S. please don't send me any gifts because I don't deserve any of them. Why not? It's because I don't subscribe to any RUclips channel.
It's a badass car, but 300k is SO much, not to mention you're probably gonna have to apply to buy.
Personally I need a manual and high revving NA engine, so I wouldn't go for it regardless.
I have to say I’m a fan of the application process. I’d rather be told I’m denied, then be told by dealership I can have it for double MSRP with a color I don’t want
@@TexasRevving
Yea, it's nice to get it straight from the manufacturer, but it makes it almost impossible for a normal person to acquire, especially after that MSRP
@rhatala27 exotics aren't intended for normal people to be fair. I have less issues with this price and it's tech and more issue with the difference in price when new of my fox and a current GT, but the whole world has gotten expensive
@@metallicafan416
Mustang has always been the everyman's sports car. It has never been an exotic
@@rhatala27But it still is the everyman sports car. This is a special skunkworks product that shows the limits of what a Mustang can be.
Information I found was Ford had mentioned the Mustang GTD would weigh close to the GT3 race car. That would put it between the upper 2600 lbs to 2900 lbs. That rear wing is an active rear wing automatically raising or lowers for improved aerodynamics. The trunk is used for the suspension with cooling vents. The rear seat has also been removed. Personally I feel the GTD Mustang will become a solid investment car especially if it's performance numbers are as expected. Ford continues to move the Mustang from a muscle car, to a sports car and now a Supercar at a time that Ice V8 performance vehicles are under attack and starting to disappear from brands like Dodge who built straight line muscle cars. Remember Dodge just introduced a 1000+ Horsepower final edition Hellcat Demon 170 for $100,000 plus any dealer markups. A straight line performer that with markups can likely cost over $175,000. When I compare pricing. The GTD is a pretty damn good deal because I'm sure the GTD isn't a slouch when making a quarter mile pass. Nice job Ford and good luck running for the record at Nuremberg
I bet it's going to weigh 3,500 lbs.
@@christenn32I say between 3200-3500lbs.
Those are some massive rubbers.
FORD also said they will continue making V8 AND!! AND!! manual transmissions .. dont give a damn if chevy or dodge aren't doing the same .. WOOO LETS GO FORD!!!
Over there in Europe, they pronounce that exhaust company Ack Roe Poe Vich
Just friendly talk,In my opinion this car is a 1,600 hp car potential or better that needs all wheel drive to be able to maximize the potential of the GTD.What an incredible machine. The horizon & the adventures are looking pretty good....... .. .
Soo Badass ‼️ 👍 🙌 🇺🇸 👏 👌
Can you post a ford raptor update? Haha miss that truck
Holy crap I love this didn't know about it till this video.
Glad I could introduce you to it!
@@TexasRevving no it's awful i have very expensive taste and no where near the bank account to support it lol
New raptor owner here, can we get some raptor content pls 🙏
I applied I hope I get lucky
U need a terminator cobra for the collection!
But which one to trade? I wouldn't want to get rid of any of them. Also you know you need another stock Raptor (truck). You MUST be missing it by now. I have a Gen 1 and wouldn't want to live without it.
The wing arms look like baby T-Rex arms
Actually, that Porsche did the Nordschleife or North Loop in 6 minutes 49 seconds.
We all know that GOLF use GTD letters for last 30 years !!!
Carroll Shelby would have been all smiles
Dude if you got one that would be epic. Hopefully you can use your clout from your other channel to pressure Ford into allowing you to purchase one
Hahaha, unfortunately that other content is polarizing for some 🤔 But maaaybe you’re onto something
What's your " DARK HOUSE " in a next year's 24h LeMans race ? 🤣👌🍻
300 grand, no thanks can do a lot, have a dark horse a , down payment on home , another vehicle pay some bills, then he said added options really a special mustang like that the price should include that wing wheels and exhaust for that 300,00$ price
Same could be said about any car over 300K, which there are many
The Grand Touring Daytona will have no trunk
One final message for you. When a man wanted to buy a Ford GT supercar, he wanted to flip it. Yes, he eventually accomplished that task, except Ford, who lost the court case because of him, they got the last laugh. How was Ford able to have that last laugh? As you said in that video you posted a couple of weeks ago, so they could weed out the bad seeds, which was what that stupid flipper did with that GT.
No one, except the chosen will get one. And that car in the pic is not a mid engine car!
GTD is front engine
@@TexasRevving From the look it was not rear or mid engine.
I think what the garage needs, is a 04 Mach 1 with shaker hood, possibly with or without a procharger added 🤌😬
Poster car.
Who needs a trunk when your paddle shifters are made out of recycled parts from an F22 lol
Sweet garage. I passed on the 160k Raptor R and copped a fully loaded TRX for 115k and frankly, I don’t think I compromised.
Most all of the people at the unveiling got pre-order # tokens. Hopefully you got one. It will be impossible for even very wealthy to get one sadly. 1000 built.
.
19” rotor’s
Is that right? Good lord
Spend 50k with an aerodynamic group on your 2020 GT500 and save 250,000 dollars....
Riiiiight...
The GTD will appreciate. It’s limited and likely Fords last Gas motor Mustang before going full on electric
Good luck that list is short.
Performance wise it’s amazing but it’s a little too round for me looks more like an Audi e tron
I think it’s going to look great in person. I’m not a fan of the launch color
@TexasRevving I read that Ford is going to let you pick any color you want, I'd love to see one in Mystichrome.
@@TexasRevving I’m looking forward to hearing more about it
The problem with this is you have to have 300k on hand to get this car. It's not worth it! You can make your own car this way.
No you cant, this car has a lot of one of one pieces that will take a lot of time and money trying to replicate.
I don’t think I can build a car 😂
I love the car I love everything about mustang but price is ridiculous for a mustang u could get Lamborghini Ferrari,U cloud build a clean Supra that kind a money to much for a mustang
I see it differently. I personally don’t understand the “… for a mustang” part. It’s a lot of money, period. But so are many things. Whether it’s worth it or not is not is more about the components, not the model it falls under. Just my opinion anyways.
This will beat majority of the cars made by the manufacturer's mentioned, so why is it wrong to have comparable prices? 100,000 dollar ford trucks sitting on lots made to pull a trailer. Way it is now
And this isn't just a mustang. It's a high end street legal race car made to look like a mustang using expensive lightweight materials. Other exotics had these prices decades ago. Get 1 of those and put it on a track with this car and try and say it isn't worth it. Just the truth. Lifelong mustang fan that also loves Porsche and Lamborghini ✌️
you can’t get the same performance for that price tho, people are forgetting that this is built to race LEMANS, not some straightaway that you can bullet down
if I had lambo money I wouldn't buy a lambo or ferrari, I would buy the ford GT.
Let me know when you can give me over $300,000 so I can get one. Lol! More than likely this car with stupid markups will cost over $450,000.
Not to sound like a hater but in my eyes if you don’t like or own any of the Old Ford’s you’re not a real Ford enthusiast, I don’t see a 93 cobra r, a 95 cobra r, 2000 cobra r, not even a terminator cobra! What’s up with that???
Those don't appeal to me at the moment, I don't want to buy cars just to fill in a collection, I have to want to drive them. I suppose I don't know enough about that gen. mustang. I want an SVT Lighting and 05/06 Ford GT though.
I have a Shelby and I’m not a fan of this mustang. I’d rather buy a new Z06 Vette.
We can’t all like the same things
We would all like alot of things, unfortunately Ford will only sell to a privileged few...
So what's the big deal...
And that justifies not being excited about it? There’s plenty of multi million dollar cars out there that aren’t feasible for many, yet people are happy to go to car shows to see them. I’m not understanding the sour attitude.
The newer Ford GT is still a rip off. The older one is significantly better. I know, I know but what about the performance? Sure a $400,000 car? 1/4 mile performance - lots of cheaper muscle cars are faster. OK, Nurburgring lap time? Can it get below 7.00? If it can, I can't find any documentation. Bottom line, I suspect a Porsche GT to be faster - probably a Porsche Turbo as well. Bottom line, the Ford GT is about as interesting as Tesla Plaid. Interesting for about a minute. As for "in it for the wrong reason" you buy a car as an investment instead of something you drive. I'll take my old SVT or C3 corvette resto-mod and drive the wheels off them.
Now, why not mass produce the GTD. Looks like a mustang with an aero package. As for Carbon Ceramic brakes - if they are going to be trailer queens, why bother? If they are going to be track cars, we'll see how they hold up against a Griggs car.
Damn, a lot going on here haha. Calling the GTD a “mustang with an aero package” tellls me you just don’t want to like it. I’m not incentivized to convince you otherwise about it or the GT. Everyone’s entitled to their own opinion, even if they’re wrong ;)
Have you ever seen a Ford GT in person? Saying it's as interesting as a Plaid is ridiculous. It's one of the most visually stunning cars in the world. The roof of the car is so low that it doesn't even look real when you see it for the first time.
Another unaffordable rich mans car. For 300k ots not impressive at all. Thats nuts. Theyre all going bankrupt but their pricing their customers out of cars.
