I had an incident with my then 3 year old grand baby girl on their steps! I missed a step and went airborne still holding her hand! When we landed she was screaming her head off and I was petrified that she was badly hurt! I examined her all over she was fine because it was winter and she bundled up! I myself had a broken my wrist and didn’t realized it until I was walking to go get my grandson off the school bus and my wrist started hurting. Back in the house I had my grandson helping me take my coat off and my wrist had a weird shape…. 😩
Spent 6 hours in emergency! Had a cast for 6 weeks! Thankfully she was not hurt at all… What an experience!!!

That would be amazing!! 👏 I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to watch you review items!! And good for you!! They absolutely should ALL send the product free of charge as well as compensate you. The reason they want you to review their item is so your viewers as well as others that watch your content see it and find out from you if it's a good product so they get more sales "cash flow." You're making them money, so they should pay youb!! Regardless of if your thoughts on it. I'm happy for you, I hope others are you to review their products , and they compensate you nicely. Your story is so similar to mine. I’m 73. I had to take algebra a few times and my mom even had to hire a tutor. All A’s in everything else. As an adult i was diagnosed with with ADD and i guess the math struggles are common with that diagnosis. Anyway, yep. I went to college. Then i went out and worked a bunch of jobs that had nothing to do with my degree at all. It’s shameful what they did to women when we were young. I was telling my sons how we never were allowed to wear pants. Anywhere. How i was 23 before i had a pair of jeans and how very liberating that felt! I love seeing that women today have so much more freedom. Just a little wistful that we didn’t have those options!

I am not bothered by you sharing products that you like at all! Another channel I subscribe to just got a lot of push-back for taking products or making any cash from affiliate links. And he honestly rarely does. It makes no sense to me that people think they have a right to say anything negative about a channel for choosing to. It’s your channel, your content and your source of income - all provided to us for free entertainment.

I think it will be great for you to do reviews. So glad you found someone that obviously was thrilled to get your dining rm table. So sweet of her to share a picture of it in her home with you. You gotta stop saying you’re a bad Oma. Accidents happen to our precious grand babies. Thank goodness you caught her with your foot, it probably would have been a lot worse had you not. I would love to see you promote anything that will give you any amount of income. You work so hard and I will watch even if I don’t need it. You are a wonderful dedicated grandmother. They will fall and get bumps and scratches and it will upset you but it will happen again. I have1 child and 3 grands . I’m tender hearted so I spent years crying over the least thing but they lived. Child is 60 kids are 28,31,35. I was still mailing Girl Scout cookies to their colleges. In our eyes they never grow up and I love it.

I always look 3 or 4 times because there are blind spots. And it has saved me several times. I could not do algebra either in high school. But when I had a job where I had to apply it to it was easy. Yes please do products you would like. That would be great. Thank you for sharing.
When my first child was learning to "walk," he had one of those circular walkers (the kind baby sits in and there's a tray in front of them to put toys on or snacks). So we were outside and I was weeding the flowerbeds while he played in his walker right by me on the driveway. He was so little he really hadn't gotten the hang of making it move very much-his little toes barely touched the ground. Suddenly, he got the hang of it y'all and he went flying two or three feet forward and the front wheels feel off the side of the driveway and when I got up and got to him-he was flipped upside down in an azalea bush, two short chunky legs kicking back and forth and he was screaming loud enough to wake the dead! I thought he was dying.
Nope, just one scratch under his eye-i was so relieved. I was crying though with him-because first baby-new mom. The next day he had a black eye, we didn't go anywhere for a week! LoL! It can happen to anyone watching children. You spend nine months trying to get them here and they spend the first 5 years trying to kill themselves-they are little daredevils-and lightening fast!

You put so much in your videos…you should get something tangible in return. Hey, maybe some company could send a free tv for your to review🤔

Where I live the fine for having your phone on or on your lap is $1000 (dollars) plus you lose 3 points off your license. If you stop to answer your phone and the motor is still running it is still classed as using your phone while driving. I leave my phone in my handbag when out and about. I figure that they will leave a message if it is important. 1:27. Don’t try to convince anyone you can drive while you’re upside down.😁. 9:48. Promotion and opinions on products. Go for it but you must be aware we will give you our view of the products too 😉and that will give you an advantage of the pros & cons. I think it is a good idea.

It just doesn’t float my boat but that’s just me and wouldn’t stop me watching your channel. I have no doubt that you would be honest and upfront and why not earn a bit extra if it’s offered. 😻❤️🙏

So far, my weekend has started off with my hip going out of joint when I tried to roll over in bed, lo. Then a bunch of cinnamon dumped into my coffee. It was unattainable & undrinkable. No crying over spilled milk but...THIS WAS COFFEE 🤣😭

BTW- several times now my son has called me ( until about 1 month ago I was always the one to call him) and he has not asked me for money. I feel for you having the "catastrophes" with Squish. The guilt of making them sad crushes our spirit, more than theirs. Really. They are much more in the moment than we are, and they get over it. We keep berating ourselves. It's not always easy to get kids to do something that's needed for their own good, like wearing a hat in the sun. But what could you have done? Let her get a sunburn on her head? I always made heavy use of distraction, like, "Look the doll is wearing a hat too." Or, "Here, you can play with this nice jingley set of keys (while I sneak the hat on your head.)." And when all else fails, you tie an umbrella to the stroller, or put off the walk until later. As for the fall and the Hitler lip, that's a bummer, but kids get hurt. It's just a reality and it's how they learn. We do our best to protect them, but it can be tough to anticipate their next move. It will all be okay, and Squish loves you even if she's mad at you for an afternoon. When my granddaughter was 2 years old, (just 2 years ago) she would cry and say, "I don't want you, I don't love you!" Oh, that can be a knife in the heart! As for you showing us some products, I don't mind at all. I know you'll be honest and if you have some info about something I might like to try, great!

I wouldn't mind if you review products. Sorry to hear about the mishaps with the little one, but it happens. You are a loving, caring oma. I often had to stay with my ouma (Afrikaans for grandmother) when I was a child, and even though we bumped heads, especially when I was a teenager, I loved her very much, and I miss her still.

So glad someone could use your table. Margaret, I was a cheerleader in 7th and hated it and only reason I tried out was because my mom promised me a 3 speed bike for Christmas. I got my bike but never tried out again. My husband accidentally knocked our 2 yr old down and she had the same “Hitler” scab above her lip. Accidents happen. But my kids have never had a broken bone.

I would not mind you reviewing products and possibly getting a little compensation on the side. In the end you need to do what feels right for you. Children are going to get bumps and bruises. When my nephew was younger, he literally would throw himself on the floor. He constantly had bruises on his legs. He didn't care, he was having fun. I'm glad the table is finally gone and has found a new home where it will be used, cared for and loved. I can't believe that Habitat wanted a monetary donation on top of the table and chairs. Ridiculous!

Hi Margaret! No, I wouldn't be insulted at all if you promoted or reviewed products. I've often wondered why you didn't because all other channels do and it's an extra income stream for you even if it is minimal. ALL the pennies count these days. It's a beautiful weekend here in Ohio. Eight days till the wedding I'm officiating and I decided my dress needs a belt. So I'm sewing one using the four-inch wide strip of fabric I cut off the bottom of the dress to hem it. Using the fabric to cover a length of 1-1/2 inch wide elastic cut to my waist measurement so it doesn't stretch but does give the belt some structure. Found some pearl beads I had in my stash and might use them to add some glamour. Leaving the ends long to tie in a jaunty bow around my waist. Or at least I hope it's jaunty. But I may have to settle for droopy since the part of the belt that ties won't have elastic on the inside. Not sure how it will look when it's finished but gonna give it a go. It's all going to have to be hand-stitched. That ought to keep me busy this weekend in my spare moments. Have a great weekend and see you next time!

I have the same problem with Math (arithmetic is fine, but nothing else). The nuns allowed me to drop the subject, and let me do extra English and Geography! I went to an all girls school, so we didn't have the angst of boys taking our concentration away, and we wore a uniform, so didn't have to worry about having the latest clothes either. Much more conducive to learning. Absolutely review products that are sent to you - I would definitely would be interested. I don't own a TV, but watch Channel 5 (for news) through the app, and Prime, Netflix etc. on my iPad or Desktop.

I enjoy listening to very much. Some of your situations are so my life in review. For a time I watched our youngest grandson while his mother attended staff meetings on Mondays. I loved that special time with him and we will always have that special bond. You are lucky to have this time while you are able.

I'm suddenly into perfume because, why not? It makes me happy! I bought Anais Anais. It's a floral. I cannot pronounce the name, but I smell good and it makes me happy. It also distracts me from wanting potato chips.

I absolutely could not do algebra either! I always did my homework though, with my dad by my side. Failed every test but I think my teacher felt sorry for me because I passed with a D. I never tried to go any further in math… 😊

So glad you found a home for the dining set because it really is a nice set. People are just lazy nowdays, glad you found someone to take it. My husband could not do algebra either. He can do geometry though. He is dyslexic before they even diagnosed those kind of things. He's 74 so he just struggled through. I think you should do some reviews for products that we all might be interested in. Have had a great super productive week. You're a great OMA, I remember when my DIL would stand my grandson in the corner when he was bad. It was heartbreaking to me... but he needed to learn there would be a punishment for misbehaving. He's 20 now and has turned out pretty good. Its just hard because for us grandmothers these kiddos are THE BEST

I think that if you can raise a little income for yourself reviewing things that are useful to you and your viewers you should. No one is forced to watch, they can move on if not wanting to watch. As for little Squish and her hat, don’t stress too much. Kids need to wear hats and sun protection for their own good and we as parents and grandparents have to inforce it. Two of my own kids have significant head scars from falls they literally had right beside me so don’t agonise over that. All kids would be blessed to have a loving present Oma like you. Great that your table found a new home.

I never object to a review as long as it’s an honest one. As a matter of fact, I’ve been looking for a review comparing the Stir Crazy vs Dash popcorn poppers to no avail. They are so similar. That was so nice that you got a picture of your dining room outfit in its new home…it looks so good there! Who would have guessed it could be so difficult to rehome something so nice. In my area it would have been gone in a heartbeat! Sorry that Squish had an accident…poor little girl had a rough week. Hugs, my friend!
