Also cost of those epoxy tables is absolutely bonkers. I could make one for my self essentially for free, but walnut, hell downgrading to more common birch would be pretty expensive let alone all the cost of epoxy.. its one of those maker gets sponsored so gets epoxy much cheaper and with their viewers has way to get things sold fast, specially for fanboys.

for circular tables it is probably the best to always base the leg count around the maximum amount of seats on the table. So if the table seats 8 people you should either go with 8 or 4 legs. That way no one has a table leg weirdly positioned in their leg space.

    • @AramisWyler
      @AramisWyler 9 месяцев назад +10

Meh, you could have 8 legs with 8 people if each had one between their knees, but there are 7 divisions between 8 people. 7 legs for 8 people to each have their own space is best if you're not a victim of imparnumerophobia.

I'm probably one of the strangest fans.
72 year old lady and South African, living in Cambridge UK.
In the 50s I used to sit on my Dad's workbench and watch my Dad making stylish furniture, with the minimum hand tool that he probably got from my grandfather.
I have been looking at your stylish furniture and some of the features take me back to that 5 year old and makes me happy.
The only thing better with you is the running commentary and wit.
Your future is amazing and if I had the money I would order one of these sleek creations.
I also wish my dad could visit your work shop to see the amazing machines.
    Thank you for entertaining me..
Keep up the good work and keep on talking.

Holy cow! I’ve been watching for a while (since the Ryo Sonoda days) and man I’ll tell you what, it’s been amazing seeing your projects, and your view on design progress in this direction. The way you present your design decisions with reasoning, visualization sketches and renderings makes the process so enjoyable to watch. Being a designer myself, this table gave me goose bumps seeing how everything came together to make such a gorgeous piece. Keep up the amazing work!!!

I personally appreciate your insight into how you worked with these clients. You had helped advise me on IG about a built in desk I created for a client, and honestly, this video did exactly what I was hoping to see from you as far as communication with the client. I am also very critical of myself, so being asked to "surprise me" can be incredibly fun, but also anxiety provoking. I appreciate your approach, not to mention, this table design and execution is incredible. Thank you for everything, and as usual, great work.

Wow, I have to say, your woodworking skills are absolutely incredible! The table you've created is nothing short of breathtaking. The attention to detail, the precision of your cuts, and the overall craftsmanship truly showcase your artistry as a woodworker.
But it's not just your woodworking skills that impress me; your narration of the video accompanying the woodworking is captivating. Your ability to explain each step, the techniques used, and the thought process behind your decisions demonstrates a deep understanding of your craft. You have a true talent for storytelling, and it adds an extra layer of enjoyment to the experience of watching your work come to life.
Moreover, your video exhibits a wonderful sense of humor and creativity. The way you inject lighthearted moments and clever jokes into the woodworking process shows that you have a unique personality and an ability to connect with your audience on a personal level. It's evident that you not only have a passion for woodworking but also a knack for entertaining and engaging others through your videos.
Overall, your talent as a woodworker, your artistry, your narration skills, and your ability to infuse humor and creativity into your videos make you a true standout in the woodworking community. Keep up the fantastic work, and I can't wait to see what incredible creations you'll come up with next!

Skills are developed through repetition, and the same results can be achieved with far less modern tools. The only way to improve is through effort, and effort is merely the result of desire. If you want to build, do so. Even if you fail to produce something salable, gaining knowledge is never a failing endeavor. Maybe your second or third try could end with better results. Never look down upon the skills you have, but recognize that you can always get better. I encourage everyone to at least try.

The graphics do really help to visualize the concepts you are talking about. The amount of detail that goes into your editing is something that separates you from most other creators. The video itself is as much of a piece of art as the things you are building.

I love your graphics and your entire way of presenting! I think you're the most natural conversationalist I've come across on RUclips, and the easy way you talk to us like we're standing right there makes your videos enjoyable even when I can't watch them and I'm only listening. I also love how purely honest you are. You never gloss over the hard parts, you don't pretend to love the tedium, you don't run from your mistakes or let them harsh your chill past what they're due. I think we'd all agree, you're clearly well past smart, not even sharing a zip code with pretentiousness and anxiety can f'off stopping by daily for tea. You know who and what really matters and you keep that list tight. Which leaves you even keel and chill. Bottom line, your talent as a creator absolutely ranks among the RUclipsrs who deserve to say that the world's a little better place because they make a living on social media.
