Is the Honda Civic Si the perfect blend of performance and practicality? Also, a couple corrections: I said the wheels were special for the Si but they can also be found on the Civic Sport. I referred to ride quality and made it sound like there is a difference between driving modes but I was mainly trying to make a point that the ride is great all around. To be clear, no adaptive dampers on this new Si so no change in ride quality between modes.
And please for your own safety, do not drink a shot every time I say the word "really". I will really try not to say really as much in my next vid. Really.

I could see myself happily owning one of these years down the road once depreciation takes hold...One big advantage this Honda has over its competition (esp the VW GTI) is I suspect it'll have WAY better reliability!

It certainly is rare to have a car that nice under $30k...so rare, in fact, that a Cleveland area dealer has one exactly like the one you drove with an additional $6k "market adjustment" and no test drives. Great review. Always loved the Si. And this one seems pretty great. Although, as others have pointed out. It seems the removal of some of the options, just to have them in the new Integra seems like a jerk move from Honda.
And did you switch to producing your talking segments to a higher FPS? I notice that more dynamic movement when you're out of the car talking, like 30 to 60 FPS? Or maybe my eyes are playing tricks this early in the morning.
Lastly; my request again for you to add a SAAB to the fleet. Preferably a 9000 or 9-5. Keep up the great work.

Couple of interesting comments in the video…..”even in sport mode the ride doesn’t beat you up….” Dampers are fixed - as you noted - so the drive mode has no impact on ride quality.

Yes I misspoke about the ride quality which is mentioned in the pinned comment above :)

It was much lighter than the newer ones, came with a 6-year warranty, optional summer tires, was much faster than the SI especially the DSG 5.6 seconds vs 6.8 trap speed of 103 vs 95 and it actually beat the SI around the track!. Now that the GTI/GLI are 32k+ and the SI just lacks way too much power, and features for the price it's asking the best value car would be the N but because the looks are so ugly I am just going to save up for an GOLF R x)
