Universal Orlando Date Night! | Blue Man Group VIP Experience, Dinner At BigFire & A Food Review!

- In today's vlog we head to Universal Orlando's CityWalk for a date night! Universal gifted us a fun date night with the Blue Man Group VIP experience and dinner at BigFire American Fare. We had so much and wanted to say thank you again to Universal for the opportunity! We started out with the VIP tour which included an hour tour before the show, we got to see the theater, backstage and some cool Blue Man Group props and memorabilia. We also got to see some of the old Nickelodeon stuff because this theater used to be the home to Nickelodeon Studios! We saw the show, Universal gave us some promo footage to show you guys of the show because there's no filming allowed and then we ended with a special meet and greet with a Blue Man. We also got to ask him some questions and meet a band member too. Links to the BMG website is down below if you would like more info about the show or the tour. Then we head to dinner at BigFire, it was a bit loud so we filmed our thoughts and review the next morning. Love the "b-roll footage" of the food and you guys talking about it afterwards, even if s'mores are always better around a campfire, this would be a nice way to tide you over.

@@englishatheart I don't, obviously not. But if you literally have no time for yourself because of children then you probably shouldn't have had them. People need time to themselves, and couples need time together without the kids. That's how marriages fall apart.
Anamiko, if you have children you know that especially at the beginning date nights are few and far between for most people... and in general date nights are much different from when you have children to when you didn’t. Much more planning has to go into it then let’s go somewhere tomorrow night. I was simply offering my congratulations

I dont get why people complain about theme park food prices. My hubby works out of town often so I order out quite often rather than cook for one. There is once local restuarant I go to often and I order spaghetti...dessert and tea and it is over $16. So I expect theme park food to be even more.

I think when you guys do the B roll of all the dishes and talk about what you guys thought about it after at home/or a quieter place, is really awesome! I mean if its at a place where you can record where the waiter is explaining dishes back story/ what they are sure love seeing that. I really think its a lot easier on you guys to just enjoy your meals with the b roll. Looks amazing!

Looked like a wonderful date night. I can’t wait to get my family moved there in FL. to be able to have the time to explore more things. Vacations are more rushed trying to get so many things in a short amount of time (which kind of defeats the meaning of vacation lol). Hope to be able to meet you both (soon to be 3👶🏼) someday!

Really enjoyed the VIP Blue Man Group part of the video. I'm a huge theatre person. Definitely going to save up so that the next time I go to Universal Orlando my family and I can do the tour as well.

Nice that Universal gave you another chance to take advantage of their offer - you certainly deserve it! I know it's nothing compared to Florida, but it has been a very hit summer to far her in Northeastern NJ too. I am NOT a happy camper - heat (and especially humidity) is NOT my thing!!
The Blue Men both fascinate, and creep me out, all at the same time. I definitely do want to see them some day!
I use Helllmanns mayo, have for YEARS. I have, however, used the ones made with Olive Oi for quite a few years, and also just tried to one made with avocado oil recently, which I also like. I'm hoping they're a tiny bit healthier for you, considering it's well - mayo. LOL. That' s so funny about Tom Petty playing whenever Tim goes to eat! LOL

You guys are awesome! Love your videos. Any good restaurant/server should know not to bring all your food at once unless you request it that way. Sounds like they need to work out some of the kinks since it’s a new place.
Love your videos. Jenn, you're looking great. Sometimes restaurants will under season their food because some people are on a low sodium diet. That being said, I realize those people should ask for low sodium foods.
I went to Blue Man Group in Las Vegas at least 15 years ago, and got ponchos, and had a great time. I'd go again here in Orlando. Thanks for a great video! The s'mores looked fun, and good.
I won tickets for a Blue Man Group show from a blog about 3 years ago. My husband, sister and I went with no expectations, and ended up having SO MUCH FUN. It is so different from anything we've ever experienced.

Great video! :) Somewhat unrelated, but on the same day (Friday), we queued 1 hour for Hagrid's even though it said it was 2.5 hours. I think they're inflating the ride times to deter as many people from going on it as possible.
Almost every theme park inflates times on rides to deter people and to make people have that good feeling that they got thru the line faster then what the wait time said
Two things:
1.) Jenn wearing her Mickey necklace to a hosted Universal event = power move. Lol
2.) Comparing that restaurant to a Chili’s is nearly an insult. At least, the Chili’s restaurants where I live are mediocre at best. Lol

I am so lucky enough to of met the Bluemen 3 times now and I was also given one of their bits of artwork they did on stage. Best moment ever! I still have their finger prints on my tickets as well!

Does the new Hagrid coaster have on-ride photos?? I haven’t seen anyone mention anything about it! I’ve heard that Universal plans to have Express pass for it eventually, which is exciting but I really hope they do have/will add on-ride photos because the ride looks awesome!

I saw their touring show twice in Philly. My parents took me one year for my 21st birthday. Their band was doing meet and greets in the lobby. It was pretty cool.

I got pulled up on stage when I saw blue man group a few years ago! It was amazing 🤩 they attached drumsticks to my ears for a skit and I got to keep the drumsticks! They were covered in blue paint 😂

I was on stage crew in high school and loved it so the stage tour was so cool to see!
I was once brought up on stage by the blue men . It was hilarious 😂 . They were so scary looking it freaked me out .
