Tim and Jen-- Could you consider doing some videos as though you're "tourists" rather than locals? For instance, I'd love to see someone go through the process of catching an Uber, Lyft, cab, shuttle, etc. at MCO and getting over to one of the onsite UOR hotels. Maybe you could just take a suitcase to the airport and do that for us on film!?!?! Yeah? No? You're great "how to" guides, and my vacation anxiety goes down as I watch your experiences on your channel in prep for each visit. Thanks!
I totally agree!!! Especially the getting to the parks with Lyft. We are headed to Orlando in a few weeks and there I'm learning from your videos, but my vacation anxiety is still high!!

@@phatpharm06 my travel agent advised not to use the universal transportation from the airport because they are slow and a lyft costs close to the same, but gets you right to the airport without all the extra stops.
0:40 - Sorry about your weather but for the last 5+ years in San Diego we've had 110 degree days, sometimes more. This is our first mild summer. I used to volunteer at an animal sanctuary for lions and tigers. We would warn visitors that the waiver they signed was more about the heat, not getting eaten. Every now and then guests would drop out from heat. One time, the tour guide dropped out from the heat and I had to take over. Then I got heat stroke and it was all over. Once you get that, you're forever more susceptible to the heat. Long story short, don't end up like me. Take the heat seriously. Once heat stroke happens, it's with you for life and you'll feel the effects much sooner than others.
I LOVE Vivo. It's my go-to City Walk restaurant. The Bolognese pasta is my favorite along with the Squid Ink Pasta. Next time ask for balsamic vinegar and add that to the olive oil with salt and pepper. So good. I'm glad you liked Vivo! Makes me want to make a trip soon.

I love Florida weather !!! Our friends (American family) who live there say “if you don’t like the weather in Florida, wait 10minutes” 😂 We always get to a restaurant and wait it out when the storms come . Tried leaving theme parks once in the rain and it took a long time to get home . I love hearing the thunder crashing when I’m in a restaurant. Wild wings opposite sea world has a covered outdoor bar and we love to sit outside when the rain is hammering it down . It did flood the bar area once but they kept it open for us . Miss Florida so much . Not there this summer but the year isn’t over yet . 😉

Yes, it's always a good idea for us Floridians to have a plan B when it comes to the weather. You were still able to have a nice, delicious dinner out!

Love your videos as always, quick suggestion, and someone may have already done this, I think you should do a theme park day dedicated to expectant moms! Pick a park, ride what you can ride, eat and shop. I think it would be fun!! Love you guys!!
So funny about the Chillies clarification. I finished this video and then got recommended 'Jenn's Birthday!!! Oh and an engagement' which I popped on. Jenn was wearing a super pretty dress and said she was worried she'd dressed up and was going to get taken to Chillies. Thank you for being honest about the atmosphere at the restaurant. I'm very sensitive to noise due to an illness and that would have been almost intolerable for me with the metal chairs and so on. Thanks for keeping it real. But since the food is so good maybe there is take out. 😊
Thank you for doing more Universal food reviews. I would love to see more of them. Maybe include some of the nicer restaurants in the parks like Finnigans or Mythos. Also some more of the hotel sit down restaurants please!
If you guys want to no what rides Jen can ride at universal pick up a “rides Guide.” You can it at Guest service or at the train stations ether kings cross or hogsmeade. These guides are very useful for any questions anyone may have about a ride.
i had to chuckle when you started the vlog with how hot it is there, I live in Arizona and I will just mention our normal summer temps are over 105! the only draw back is you look like your having more fun having-- so much to do there...we have cactus! Lol!
My DH and I celebrated our anniversary at Vivo last year... we too were not disappointed. With regards to the noise- we were seated further back and to the left of where you were seated. You briefly showed the “room” in your video.... we had no issues. We are reminiscing about our amazing dinner while watching your video. GET THE MUSSELS!!!! insane, y’all. Oh, and the service was great. .... ask for cracked pepper with the EVOO and bread. We did.

When I was 7 months pregnant, we squeezed in a pre-baby trip to Orlando before I got to the point in pregnancy when I couldn't travel, and we went to WDW, Discovery Cove (great place to take the weight off swollen feet and ankles!), and Universal. We also did a day at Sea World as it was included with our Discovery Cove admission. Anyway, PLENTY to ride at Disney while pregnant, not so much at Universal, but there were things that are now gone that I could experience. I remember that, in IOA, I could do Seuss Landing, Poseidon's Fury, and, although it's advised not to, I will confess that I rode Jurassic Park River Adventure, and my favorite - Spiderman! Despite the drop on Jurassic and the centrifugal spin of Spiderman, baby came out just fine! ;-) He's a healthy, happy 16 yr-old high school junior today with a love for travel, Disney, Universal, and Spiderman! Lol! But, I do not recommend others to do as I did. I rode with the knowledge of risk, although after Spiderman, I admitted I shouldn't have ridden as I had forgotten how much spin there was to it. On the studios side, I could do E.T., which i think is the only thing that's still there today, as well as the former Jaws, Terminator, and Twister. Obviously, shows and attractions with stationary theater seating was fine, but, today, except for E.T., Seuss Landing, and Hogwarts Express, I don't think there is any current ride that one could/should experience while expecting. All that's left to do is to soak up the atmosphere - which, in and of itself and with the right attitude, can be worth the price of admission, too.
It’s been in the 90s with high humidity the past couple of weeks in upstate NY too. We haven’t been to our local theme park. Theme park food is definitely expensive. We avoid it when we can because it’s very basic at our local parks. Great video with great tips and reminders! I love your food vlogs.

Hi Tim and Jen! I was sitting with that large group in the backroom next to you around the 7:14 mark. I actually searched to see if you two had done a video on Vivo before we went that night and then was super excited when I saw them seat the two of you! 100% agree with you on the food and atmosphere! I did feel like the backroom behind you was a little better noise wise than the kitchen area you sat in. I also agree the food was very flavorful and wonderful! Definitely looking forward to going back again.

Vivo is my fav city walk place all the food is amazing. FYI on the pizza, it’s the same as red oven, the restaurants share the same back kitchen and employees. All pizzas use the same stuff, that’s why they so good (I’ve literally see employees switch places cause one side was not busy enough).
Glad you guys had a great dinner. I agree, Jenn, that was very loud. That's the same reason I can't stand eating at say T-Rex, or RainForest, unless you don't care if you talk to your dining companions or not, or maybe you even even hate them - good escape! LOL. That bread definitely looked good - crusty, and nice inside, like you said. Tim's pizza also looked delicious. Sorry, Jenn, I don[t eat seafood, and black pasta is just - well - weird. Great video, we also love Vivo's! Just wanted to mention, I know you have eaten at Jake's (Royal Pacific) and didn't have great service, but said the food was good. We spend a lot of time at Universal and have tried almost every restaurant and keep going back to Jake's as our favorite. I agree that the service is sometimes slower, but we have never had a bad meal (our favorites are the short ribs, turkey burgers, tomato soup with cheese donut, crawfish chowder, and the best of all are the sweet potato fries with their homemade ranch dressing! ( not kidding, we crave these fries all year long) We love that no matter how busy the parks are, dinner here is never over crowded and the seats are super comfortable. On our trip last month we were at Sapphire Falls for 9 nights and chose Jakes for dinner 5 times. Really worth a second chance!
Hi Tim and Jenn, love your videos. You know rain is only water right, you can still go on rides in the rain especially the ones that are indoors, I understand they close the roller coasters and such but it won't hurt you, in England if it rains it doesn't matter, never give up and never surrender!!
I live in Fresno, CA. Our summer is may-october. We typically run in the high 90s to low 100s each day. If mother nature is really angry we have weeks of 110+. A few years ago we had 2 weeks of 115 straight. Last few years we hit 108 as the high so not as bad.
Ive been really enjoying your videos. I initially watched for your WDW content but these are making me consider branching out on my future trips to Orlando. Keep up the good work you two. PS I was in Orlando for the last week of June, this year, and it was the first time I looked forward to getting back to the summer weather in Phoenix.
We went to VIVO two weeks ago when we were on vacation. It was awesome! And we just happened to have walked up at 4:01 as they were unlocking the door.
Hi myself and my family went to Vivo first when it was my 50th birthday when we were on vacation in 2016 we now visit it every time we go to Orlando the food is so good x

I would have just stayed in the park inside until the rain passed and not waste the day. It seems like alot to drive there and then leave because of rain? I guess if you live close by its different. You guys are adorable, congratulations on your new addition 💙
Great video guys! I had an idea. I think it would be really cool (and helpful to pregnant women) if Jenn did a video on all the pregnancy safe rides in the parks. I'm well past child bearing years now lol but there are so many that attend the parks pregnant and maybe aren't sure. So I think that would be great if you felt up to it. Just an idea. :) 🤰❤👶
One of our favorite part of our universal trip was vivo. We love puttanesca and they do it so well. We went in the off season(september) at about 8p. We sat outside on the patio and the atmosphere was amazing. Maybe try it again outside once it cools down outside a bit.
I’m so glad you guys when to Vivo. My wife and I love it there. Good tip is you can usually get a seat at the counter that’s behind Jenn even when it’s busy and it’s pretty interesting to watch the chefs at work while you eat.
Vivo was my best meal last trip. I had the beef carpaccio and the veal marsala. Was great! I sat at the bar so I didn't notice the noise level that much, but the bartender was amazing (which I could remember his name). He made me a special drink since I couldn't decide what I wanted and it was the best drink I've ever had anywhere. Definitely looking forward to eating there again in September!
My family and I were just there on vacation and went to Vivo. It was fantastic! Agree on the noise though. The metal chairs also aren’t comfortable after a long day at Universal.
You guys probably wont see this but there is a restaurant in Citywalk called Antojitos. It's a mexican restaurant but it was one of the best dinners I've had of my life! You guys please try it sometime! It does get very busy though. I recommend the Quesadillas.
We were back in the booth area and it wasn't too bad noise wise at all. The food was definitely my favorite of the trip! Had a pesto gnocchi with chicken. Yummy!
You guys should do a video where you only ride the rides expecting mothers can ride at the theme parks (Disney, universal, etc.) It would give an idea for other expecting mothers could ride if they wanted to go to the parks while they’re pregnant 🤗
I personally don't like when restaurants sit me by the kitchen or the way in and out of that area for the noise reasons. Thanks for sharing the noise level issues!
I feel ya Jenn! When I was pregnant with my Son, he was due in September, it was the Summer in Pittsburgh and I couldn't do the heat either!! Hang in there!
Jen! Amazingly adventurous on the squid ink pasta. I did try it in NYC before a show, and while I liked it, it disagreed with me. And it was a bit sandy, like once ringed clams. Glad you enjoyed it! I’d would have enjoyed that pizza enjoyed!
Loved all the food! Baby recommendation, get a Boppy (or equivalent) great for nursing and even if you aren't going to nurse it is great for resting your arms on while holding the baby. And a Bumbo, now obviously, don't put the Bumbo on a counter or surface where the baby can fall or reach up and pull something down on him. It is great for when you need to do something (like use the bathroom) and can't hold the baby. It is great for when the baby can't sit up on his own yet, and you can't put him in a playpen or high chair.
its a bit hot for the outdoor shows, but hopefully in october november Jenn can go out and enjoy - Universal Studios - stationary seating at Minions if you aren't feeling too motion sick, the horror show, the animal show, (fear factor is terrible but you could go), all the shows in diagon alley, blues brothers, parades, beat builders IOA - jurassic discovery center, meet blue, walk through the bottom of camp jurassic, ride the caroseussel, see story time with the seuss characters, betty boop, marvel superhero character meet n greets (especially spiderman), and yes, hogwarts express

faye swiger if you book a package on the Universal site, you can get round trip to and from the airport for $39 person. That’s what we are doing. 😁

Tim and Jenn make my entire day. Cant't wait for more baby updates!!! I'm curious if either of them actually reads these comments...and if they do, I hope they know how much I enjoy their videos. Also, They are BOTH glowing. Can't wait to watch these two be PARENTS!

Hi Tim and Jen! I was sitting with that large group in the backroom next to you around the 7:14 mark. I actually searched to see if you two had done a video on Vivo before we went that night and then was super excited when I saw them seat the two of you! 100% agree with you on the food and atmosphere! I did feel like the backroom behind you was a little better noise wise than the kitchen area you sat in. I also agree the food was very flavorful and wonderful! Definitely looking forward to going back again.
For having not been to Florida yet, I will say Tim and Jenn have taught me a lot lol. Love you guys!

Vivo is my fav city walk place all the food is amazing. FYI on the pizza, it’s the same as red oven, the restaurants share the same back kitchen and employees. All pizzas use the same stuff, that’s why they so good (I’ve literally see employees switch places cause one side was not busy enough).
Glad you guys had a great dinner. I agree, Jenn, that was very loud. That's the same reason I can't stand eating at say T-Rex, or RainForest, unless you don't care if you talk to your dining companions or not, or maybe you even even hate them - good escape! LOL. That bread definitely looked good - crusty, and nice inside, like you said. Tim's pizza also looked delicious. Sorry, Jenn, I don[t eat seafood, and black pasta is just - well - weird. LOL

Great video, we also love Vivo's! Just wanted to mention, I know you have eaten at Jake's (Royal Pacific) and didn't have great service, but said the food was good. We spend a lot of time at Universal and have tried almost every restaurant and keep going back to Jake's as our favorite. I agree that the service is sometimes slower, but we have never had a bad meal (our favorites are the short ribs, turkey burgers, tomato soup with cheese donut, crawfish chowder, and the best of all are the sweet potato fries with their homemade ranch dressing! ( not kidding, we crave these fries all year long) We love that no matter how busy the parks are, dinner here is never over crowded and the seats are super comfortable. On our trip last month we were at Sapphire Falls for 9 nights and chose Jakes for dinner 5 times. Really worth a second chance!
What I really like is that the theme parks give so many cool choices for some really interesting and good food

Hi Tim and Jenn, love your videos. You know rain is only water right, you can still go on rides in the rain especially the ones that are indoors, I understand they close the roller coasters and such but it won't hurt you, in England if it rains it doesn't matter, never give up and never surrender!!
I live in Fresno, CA. Our summer is may-october. We typically run in the high 90s to low 100s each day. If mother nature is really angry we have weeks of 110+. A few years ago we had 2 weeks of 115 straight. Last few years we hit 108 as the high so not as bad.

We went to VIVO two weeks ago when we were on vacation. It was awesome! And we just happened to have walked up at 4:01 as they were unlocking the door.

I actually agree with you in terms of a lot of the theme park restaurants are SO loud. I usually don’t mind as long as the food is great lol great video!
I would have just stayed in the park inside until the rain passed and not waste the day. It seems like alot to drive there and then leave because of rain? I guess if you live close by its different. You guys are adorable, congratulations on your new addition 💙

Great video guys! I had an idea. I think it would be really cool (and helpful to pregnant women) if Jenn did a video on all the pregnancy safe rides in the parks. I'm well past child bearing years now lol but there are so many that attend the parks pregnant and maybe aren't sure. So I think that would be great if you felt up to it. Just an idea. :) 🤰❤👶

One of our favorite part of our universal trip was vivo. We love puttanesca and they do it so well. We went in the off season(september) at about 8p. We sat outside on the patio and the atmosphere was amazing. Maybe try it again outside once it cools down outside a bit.

Y’all should give big fire another try. The mussels, trout dip, scallops, ribeye were all delicious and super flavorful
I’m so glad you guys when to Vivo. My wife and I love it there. Good tip is you can usually get a seat at the counter that’s behind Jenn even when it’s busy and it’s pretty interesting to watch the chefs at work while you eat.

Vivo was my best meal last trip. I had the beef carpaccio and the veal marsala. Was great! I sat at the bar so I didn't notice the noise level that much, but the bartender was amazing (which I could remember his name). He made me a special drink since I couldn't decide what I wanted and it was the best drink I've ever had anywhere. Definitely looking forward to eating there again in September!

My family and I were just there on vacation and went to Vivo. It was fantastic! Agree on the noise though. The metal chairs also aren’t comfortable after a long day at Universal.
Love being in the parks when it rains, don't mind getting wet or pull on a poncho and enjoy the day!
You guys probably wont see this but there is a restaurant in Citywalk called Antojitos. It's a mexican restaurant but it was one of the best dinners I've had of my life! You guys please try it sometime! It does get very busy though. I recommend the Quesadillas.

We were back in the booth area and it wasn't too bad noise wise at all. The food was definitely my favorite of the trip! Had a pesto gnocchi with chicken. Yummy!
You guys should do a video where you only ride the rides expecting mothers can ride at the theme parks (Disney, universal, etc.) It would give an idea for other expecting mothers could ride if they wanted to go to the parks while they’re pregnant 🤗

Great video. May have to try Vivo's on my next visit. I like going to theme parks when it rains since it clears out the crowds and shortens the lines.

Jen! Amazingly adventurous on the squid ink pasta. I did try it in NYC before a show, and while I liked it, it disagreed with me. And it was a bit sandy, like once ringed clams.

Baby recommendation, get a Boppy (or equivalent) great for nursing and even if you aren't going to nurse it is great for resting your arms on while holding the baby. And a Bumbo, now obviously, don't put the Bumbo on a counter or surface where the baby can fall or reach up and pull something down on him. It is great for when you need to do something (like use the bathroom) and can't hold the baby. It is great for when the baby can't sit up on his own yet, and you can't put him in a playpen or high chair.

IOA - jurassic discovery center, meet blue, walk through the bottom of camp jurassic, ride the caroseussel, see story time with the seuss characters, betty boop, marvel superhero character meet n greets (especially spiderman), and yes, hogwarts express
We tried Vivo in Hollywood and enjoyed it. The squid ink pasta was indeed good.

I work at Vivo as a hostess! I am so sad I was off the day you guys went to eat there. The restaurant can get loud but it just depends on where your table is. I hope I see you guys next time, come back soon!
