I love the way they highlight the other musicians on stage in all their shows. I've seen a few different acts by blue man group in person and online, and they're always a great show. My personal favorite had the supporting musicians as neon colored stick figures in a pyramid behind the main stage.They made some really cool stop motion style effects with it.

Just saw these guys…Boy, they were ****ing amazing! From the music, the comedy, and all the interactions with the audience. The show was so unique and hilarious; and at the end I found my jaw hurting from all the laughing that happened during the show. They are a VERY talented group of men and continue to blow my mind every time I watch one of their performances here on youtube. They even referenced some really good songs on those tubes, that just added to the wide variety of things I got to experience. If you ever receive the chance to watch these guys I HIGHLY recommend you do, trust me it'll be worth it!

No joke, my dad does that at EVERY concert or street performance or guitar player we come across. He never explained it to me. He almost did it at the BMG show we went to.
The first time I ever heard of them, I was with a friend in New York visiting her family. They lived in Tarrytown & we went into Manhattan and saw them in an off Broadway show. It was in the summer of 96 or 97. So I was 16 or 17. And they did the Blue Man Group in tubes. PVC pipes were everywhere. No real drum sets. Amazing sounds through all these plastic tubes & PVC pipes. Then, at the end we had to pull toilet paper over our heads & it all went to the front of the stage. We were only like 12 rows back. However, that was my first time in New York & I have no idea what theater we were in??. It was small & dark..not lavish... But one of the most amazing shows I have ever seen!! I was into Raves at the time and the percussion from those tubes was just exhilarating!! I remember saying that they were going to be something huge one day. And at the end the Blue Man Group was greeting everyone as they left the theater. And I had one of the playbills in my hand and two of them kissed it. So I have an original play bill with blue paint and lit marks all over it. Pretty cool thing. I wish I had any idea what theater I was in.
I’ve seen them 5 times in Vegas. I could see them a million more times. Their music have an emphasis on percussion....add those magical guitar rifs and it puts me me in another world. 🤩
Dude as a percussionist....... I gotta say, I peed my pants first time I heard them. I then proceeded to pee myself once more when I found out back in 6th grade that they were playing in Atlanta that Spring. Later, I cried uncontrollably when I couldn't find out any info on the concert. I will pee myself once more if they play in Georgia any time soon.
Their paint is actually latex paint so it firms when it dries. Perhaps that keeps them from smiling since it would rip off any hair in the area and cause extreme pain😂

One was PVC pipes and foam paddles, me and this other wee kid had great fun for about 20 minutes. The Blue Man Group made a carreer of doing it.

@@bcb5696 when they where at Monte Carlo show there was 2 versions. The first version had exclusive scenes like: how the brain works, how happiness works, playing music with car robots. I guess the orlando show got jealous that the Vegas show was better so in 2015 they made the show the same as the Orlando show but took out live backstage and replaced the finale song to make Orlando the best. And eventually for all their shows they removed the balls on the finale and also replaced the finale song.

They have shows in Vegas literally tonight and tomorrow, you can definitely see a show and I recommend it highly, one of the best shows I’ve been to. But honestly I saw cavalia in the front row and that was epic!
I just think about how hot they must be. All that stuff blocking pores on their heads, gloves, long sleeve shirts, pants and boots. Then add in all the physical activity. It’s amazing they don’t pass out on stage.

We went to see the Blue Man Group in London as a family a few years back. It was the best theatre I have ever seen. Absolutely brilliant.

I have been to their show in Boston twice. Incredible performance , would definitely recommend everyone to go if you are in Boston.
