It's all about being prepared and having the right tools at hand. If you have any questions or need further assistance, feel free to reach out. Happy prepping!
Got mine! Just few questions. When / what % of use left do you recommend that a person should recharge the 2000x? Example with phones they say 5-25% battery left ,then you should recharge. 2nd question, any recommendations on how to clean unit? I was thinking electronic spray cleaner for outside & air for vents. Anything you think is good idea. Thank you.
Thank you for your interest in the Patriot Power Generator 2000X! We appreciate your enthusiasm and understand the significance of being prepared for hurricane season, especially in Florida. I didn't get an answer to my 2 questions below just a heart reply! Lol. Can you give advice on how to clean solar panel surface & generator? Also what percentage power left do you recommend to drain battery down before you start to recharge ? Thanks for the information.
Belinda, we're so sorry about that. We recommend to give it a recharge when it's around the 15%-25% range. For cleaning the outside of the unit, we recommend to use a microfiber or soft cloth to clean with. We also agree that compressed air to get rid of dust would be a safe method! The main thing we say is to stay away from harsh chemicals.
How long is the cord from the panels to the generator? If I set the panels out in the yard I would hope the cord is really long so it can reach inside the house when I set the generator near my refrigerator.
Question and this is a serious question for me anyway. How many cycles will this have before it is a brick? I am considering something like this so the value has to justify the expense.
I bought the 2000X and it did not work well when I needed it for a tropical storm. It worked for about 1 1/2 hours fully charged! What good is that? I would definitely not recommend it to anyone.
We're so sorry to hear this, JoJo. We wonder if you might've been powering something that requires a tremendous amount of wattage by chance. Please give us a call at 1-800-304-4202 so we can assist!

That is a great question. The Patriot Power Generator 2000X has 4 AC outlets and a max output of 2000 watts. The total amount of devices you can power and their duration. Will all depend on the power draw of the unit that the Patriot Power Generator is connected to. You can find examples of this in the FAQ section of the following link. 4patriots.cc/RUclips-PPG2000X
Got ours today. It will not charge via the cord to wall outlet. ‘Lightning’ charging indicator does not display. Will certainly return. Confidence in this product is gone. Disappointed as we needed this now.
With 1 of our 100w solar panels, it takes about 16 hours to fully charge if depleted. Each additional 110w solar panel cuts this time in half. Charging via AC will get your generator charged up in 5 hours!
It accumulates, retains, and discharges stored energy. It's a battery. I'm gonna start calling the rechargeable batteries for my lawn tools generators.
That's part of it! Through the transmission and transferring of solar energy through the solar panel to the conversion of solar energy into mechanical power through the battery, it's a textbook solar generator!
That would be dumb. The battery just stores the energy. You may as well call a gas tank a generator. Photovoltaic panels are in fact electrical generators.
I just got mine last week.i was so excited! However, I'm missing 1 solar panel, the other solar panel came in damaged,& I didn't receive my extension cord either..I know you guys must be super busy; however, I've called several times & sent emails as well..No response for a week! Also I received someone else's packing slip in my order too..I've seen Excellent reviews & spent lots of money on your products.. Can you please have a Manager contact me? Thank you! AC units take a LOT of energy. It's really just a physics problem. This device could run single small window AC unit for about 1 hour on a full charge. If you need central AC to run without a power grid, you need a fuel-based generator.
Unfortunately, it really is up to wattage requirements that you need to fulfill. We're sorry that it won't fulfill the needs of your AC unit, but it has uses for many other essentials!
You're exactly right. It truly depends on how much power you need for the item you're running. While some devices seem so similar in their output, they may require far more wattage than others.
Than you for your interest in the Patriot Power Generator 2000X. Unfortunately, this unit was intended for use with items/appliances that use 110V only. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

@@BrettsCorner92 That's not true. This unit can only take 4 panels @ 100 watts X .85 = 340 watts. This is for 3 to 6 hours of peak sunlight (it depends where you live). If it is cloudy the amount of solar power will be drastically reduced. So, your statement is false.
We are delighted to assist you. The Patriot Power Generator 2000X can power a fridge for around 40 hours before needing to be charged. 4patriots.cc/RUclips-PPG2000X
2,500 charges is not that much. One charge isn't even enough for a day so figure you have to charge it twice in a day. You're lucky to get two years out of it. Is it really worth it I don't think so!
Frank, that would be true if you're trying to power up your microwave every second of the day since they are huge wattage hogs. If you were to use it for a fridge, which we recommend to use them for, that can charge for up to 13 hours at a time! You shouldn't have to worry about a power outage every day of the year (if you do, we recommend changing electric companies). If you only need one charge a day for every day of the year, your generator can last you for almost 7 years!
If you want to be technical, nothing is an actual "generator" as energy cannot be produced nor can it be destroyed, rather converted. Our solar generator transmits solar energy and converts it into mechanical power!
