A couple things I've found: those scrap hands you find at camps and next to ships as well as randomly around corrupted worlds will sometimes have a full 10 stack of mirrors, or even 10 walker brains, though it seems pretty rare. Another thing, you can use the scrap camp to find multiple crashed ships, just put a save beacon in the camp and you can come back to it again and again to find more ships. A third thing, even though fighting 5 waves of corrupted sentinels wont disable them, shutting down a sentinel pillar will, after that you can farm mirrors and shards in peace.
It's not a feature or effect.. They literally just removed a minimum speed limit for these ships. A limitation literally no game added because it's dumb. The fact this wasn't the standard and people are acting like it's a feature is baffling 😂
i found out that you can put pugneum and atlantideum both in a refiner and make mould with it. It takes a lot longer to refine but has a very high efficiency of 1:3.
I've also noticed that all three engine types (launch, pulse, and hyperdrive) on Sentinel ships are FAR more efficient on fuel use. I friggin' love these things.
PS. You don't need to be very far in the game to get your own sentinal ship. All you need is repair kits and the cloaking shield. Go around on disonent planets and look for resonators that drop echo locators instead of mirrors, once you find one just destroy it and cloak/run untill the sentinals aren't agro anymore. Then you're free to use the echo locator, once you find a ship simply use the repair kits to get it up and running. Takes no effort and very little to no combat. Enjoy!
Jason, have you missed one of the big things you can do, I have spent the last two days flying around looking for the different new interceptors for the good A & S and have scrapped all the B & C and duplicate A's I have found and in tow days made over 500 million. So another arm to this massive update, that to me has added a breath of fresh air to the game. Keep the great vids coming mate.
@@1Ferretking Credits, c class ships can be scrapped for aroundish 30 million and the b classes go for 50 mil, easiest and quickest way to make units in the game
God, I love this update. The game just hands you free ships and multi-tools with even the C Class ones still being really good. The ships also sell for a *lot* with the C Class ones selling for around 4 mill each when scrapped. And that's all without mentioning how incredible the ships look in the first place.
I’ve been giving out echo locaters to people at the nexus so that they can find sentinel multi tools cause i feel like a lot of people only knew/ know about the ships gonna try to give out more today
Thanks Jason!!! You are the first one to talk about this stuff. Love the hover feature. Never even thought about being a possibility. Now if we could just fight the waves of ground sentinels from the hovering ship.....That would be sweet!!
@@OminousBurns Oh ya, I've got an Experimental pistol with 27k+ , but that is the Boltcaster with fully min/maxed X and Sentinel upgrades. This 21k+ is the Pulse Splitter with just the first 3 S mods I had, no min/maxing. If it did the same min/maxing with the Boltcaster, it would be way higher.
Also the value of the new sentinel ships is quite off the charts. I was in a SS yesterday and decided to check the scrap value of my new B-class Sentinel. 143,000,000! What? 143 million for a B-class that has not had a single cargo slot upgrade? Scrap two or three of these early game, and you are rich.
Yeah, I have a buddy who just started out and I told him to find one of these Dissonant worlds ASAP. Even C-Classes were giving 27-45 million credits upon scrapping.
Sentinel cannon is nice, then infra knives joins the game, literaly 5x more DPS (or even more). With fully upgraded infra knives i melt Sentinel Freighter in 24s.
I have the pulse spitter at 20990,7 damage potential and I just used the first 3 upgrades I purchased. Have to try to find better ones from the black market. With luck, you can usually get better stats then the regular upgrades.

I've found the best way to farm the Radiant Shards and Inverted Mirrors is using the rover laser. You can run around a planet and pick up tons with ease and just run from the sentinels to lower your level.
I have gotten an interceptor ship with four adjacent supercharged slots. One for the gun and the other three for the pulse drive upgrades. Maneuverability of 1876 lol crazy speed
I got the Manoeuvrability up to just over 3000 on one of my new Sentinel ships using only X class modules, Bobble Heads and star trails. Posted a video on my channel on how to get some of the best stats for that. Also it has been noted by Ricey's Starship Emporium that the stats on the new ships is higher then the regular ships. Let alone the ability to now HOVER above ground in a ship. Really enjoying this update so far.
Tips on getting echo locators: toss all your inverted mirrors and start a quest to fix a sentinel ship via combat. If you dont have any mirrors the scanner will tune to dissonance resonators. You can walk up under them to see if they drop a locator or not
I hate to be that guy, I get the focus was on the new update, but the easiest fast way to get nanites is to keep traveling between two pirate systems. Go to one, buy the six suspicious arms and suspicious tech packages from the black market fence, back and forth back and forth until you have full stacks. Open, fill your inventory with suspicious modules and sell those for nanites. You can make 3 to 5k nanites just off a couple trips. And if you don't want to waste your warp cores or are just lazy with a bunch of free time like me, the shop respawns the ones you bought after six to eight minutes. Edit: and if you can't afford it, keep hitting the pirate system freighters for contraband items to sell in legitimate systems. You can use the same technique transporting back and forth between two close pirate systems. Fill your inventory with contraband and have fun with the 50 million you make after a couple of jumps back and forth.
I put a pulse spitter on my new sentinel rifle with I think 3 adjacent boosts and between a ridiculous fire rate and almost instant reload, it's become my new favorite weapon
Great tips on getting nanites. I had no idea about the hover option of the sentinal ships. That is game changing so so many ways. The Bobliberator is a really cool multitool.
I know of a way to farm that I consider to be better than the hyliane brain method and it’s super simple. Step 1. Find an outlaw station, you will need to find a lot of them for big payouts so be warned . Step 2. Buy all the tech and arms packets and open them, this part is very expensive but in late game that shouldn’t be a problem. Step 3. Sell those black market tech modules to the upgrade module dealer for 300-700 nanites a piece. This easily got me 10k+ nanites in less than 30 mins
I feel like an idiot that it never hit me to put the actual pulse splitter or the shotgun attachment in a supercharged slot instead of the upgrades, my damage shot up when I did that
I got my sentinel rifle up to 20k with maxed pulse spitter, all X upgrades….the pistol I was able to get to 15k with same sort of set up….took awhile to get all the right upgrades, but well worth it
You get the most x exosuit upgrades from salvage glass, everything pours through glass in the end. In one planet run i made the over 38k nanites selling the upgrades
Hi, Jason! In my opinion you forgot one plus thing. We have a new way of farming credits, because if you get 3-4 Dreadnought AI Fragments then when you use them you can claim the ships for free in the process of finding an S or A class ship, but if you don't find any you can scrap the useless ships and you will get 35-50 million credit. And this way I could make hundreds of thousand of credit.
Already got over a billion looking for an S-class because i really like the look of the ships on the planet i am at. (might get enough nanites to upgrade an A-class from selling the upgrades before i actually find one)
What Hello Games really needs to do is show the stats of each tech installed on Freighter/Multitool/Ship/Suit. I want to know how much shields I actually got, see each individual stats for every weapon installed. example Multitool 1: Shatterblaster: Potential Damage ???, Reload Speed ??? RoF ??? Capacity ???. Blaze Javelin: Potential Damage ??? Charge Speed ???. Multitool 2: Mining Laser: Mining Speed ???, Resource Obtained ???, Cooldown ???. You get the picture, also actually show that bonuses you get for linking compatible tech together in the cursor window.
Just FYI, if you put Atlantideum and Pugneum into a refiner together it refines to 3 runaway mold. with 1 Atlantideum refining to 2 Pugneum on its own, you get 6 Mold out of 3 Atlantideum.
Pretty sure the warp drive is able to travel further as well. Stock it can do multiple jumps with the navigation engaged, in free fly mode, with it upgraded, it can equal if not out do a capital ship in distance capabilities.
Not sure if you’ve talked about this yet, but I found a planet yesterday that had the infested adjective and it had these tentacle things that dropped balls with body parts in them that refined into mad nanites. Like they were everywhere and it made tons of nanites. Just had to disable the sentinels.
If you put atlantideum and pugneum in a medium/large refiner you get runaway mould which can be refined at a way better ratio than pugneum(5 runaway mould=1 nanite compared 25 pugneum=1 nanite) Hope this helped someone!

Love the video, would you happen to have the Portal Glyphs for the system where you found that purple interceptor? I’m a big fan of the look of it (and purple is my favorite color)
i don't have the portal glyps. But if you do the current weekend nexus mission you will end up in a system close to it. If you activate one of the camp seeker thingies there it will lead you to one of those ships. (or a ship close enough that i could not immediatly tell the difference) Edit: i just remembered, that i used an ai fragment not a camp seeker thingie. (The nexus mission is in a dissonant system but with no crashed interceptors so the fragment will send you to the next system with crashed interceptors)
I got super lucky and got a sentinel multitool with 3 multicharged slots close together, not completely adjacent but close enough, and i got it to 26k damage. it's not even minmaxed, just with random s class upgrades atm. it just erases health bars, but for some reason the wiki says they don't have good damage outputs??? which is insane to me. i've gotten alien multitools that would hit maybe 11k, granted this was before the addition of the supercharged slots, but still. as soon as a slapped a scatter blaster in this thing, with no upgrades, in just one supercharged slot, i was hitting like 15k or something. Unfortunately this multitool was b-class when i got it, and i didn't realize it's potential until i upgraded it. i really wish i'd recorded the system it was in though bc it's a beast.
nice vids! btw im just coming back after few time off, now im at " salt farmer " mode, is it hard to finish sentinel ship questline with low grade equipments ? i just barely slap any tech inside my ship/multitool i dun wan to be yoinked xD
Sentinal Multi-tools can reach 28k+ damage with the right set up and upgrades, so 13k/17k is kinda cute lol. As for nanite methods... The Hyaline Brains are only 1:260, stack of 10 being 2600 nanites but this still pales in comparison to S class Mods which are 1:490 or 10 for 4900. Also the Sentinel Cannon weapon for ships, uses Photon Cannon upgrades, sadly instead of Sentinel technology upgrades which should have been specific to sentinel ships, that we could have researched or discovered. Opportunity missed there Hello Games.
Make a video about being on a pirate controlled dissonant planet you can shoot the dissonant resonator and not have sentinels attack you!!! Then you can farm the mirrors or get echo locaters and find sentinel interceptors
Just found a planet that spawns those mirror machines in twos right next to each other so I’ve been just flying around shooting them, if you have good enough shields you can ignore the interceptors.
This is some great info. Currently, Mr. Pointy, my alien multitool of 5 years has a damage potential of 22036.1 and a scan range of 699.1. Today I will be stripping him down to see if I can get the sentinel MT higher. My ship of 5 years is an S class Explorer that has a glitched photon cannon due to modding gone bad. I has a rate of fire that is blinding and doesn't over heat. It decimates anything and everything in the game so far. I do have a video of this if any one wants to see it. I can post a link.
So what I'm hearing is that I need to get 5 Sentinel ships, kit them out like crazy, max out my squadron slots, trade pilots a Sentinel ship for whatever they are rocking, and then recruit that pilot so I have a squadron of Sentinel-class ships to destroy more Sentinel ships for their brains to turn into nanites.
Yeah, that's been happening a lot with this new update recently. It's seemingly calmed down after turning off multiplayer, but it still happens sometimes.
I haven't played this game since the update dropped a few days ago, I'm going to start a new game and explore (and hopefully find one of the new ships).
The brains seem like a really inefficient way to get nanites. You get a lot of money for the ships. Also the time-lapse it would take to find ten ships, you could farm 9999 crystals.
I've been searching for an S type ship and multi tool but I don't have all the glyphs. All the videos on RUclips are outdated on how to quickly get all the glyphs.
I'd love to know too, can't seem to find this model on nmsce >.< edit: found it in jason's "Sentinel Tech Stream! No Man's Sky Interceptor Exploration" video at the 1 hour 30 minutes mark, ship was A class for me.
I've reached a total of over 25k with my pulse splitter on my first s class sentinel multitool. It's insane how quickly it can wipe enemies on challenge difficulty rating
Or you know, go to a outlaw station. Buy all the technology and weapon cases, open and sell the tech for like 4k nanite. Teleport to your base and fly back.........

this plus wire refiner placement dupe glitch is op
Ive seen 59,000 with scatter blaster
I need nms to make a ship item to install in some other non-sentinel ships to make them hover too.
Hey Jason is there any glitch in the game in which the game gets freeze while we are playing. And we can not do anything . PLEASE RESPOND 🥺🥺
Yeah, that's been happening a lot with this new update recently. It's seemingly calmed down after turning off multiplayer, but it still happens sometimes.
@@wesleyward5901 oh thanks man I thought i is only happening to me because i have the disc version of the game
"Look at how fast this is!" It's still not an Infra-knife though :)
Thanks Jason!
That rate of fire of the sentinel is nothing compared to my infraknife that does 74000dps. :D It's a proper minigun.
I haven't played in about 3 months but plan to soon. My alien weapon damage though is 15,700. So, I am interested to see if this will do more damage.
I have an alien multitool with a damage potential of 30,000. Scatter blaster is insane
(I think it’s glitched)
Thanks for the useful info.
There's a free alien multitool with 4 supercharged slots next to each other. I managed to get it maxed to 41000 with some suspicious modules upgrades.
….
I've been searching for an S type ship and multi tool but I don't have all the glyphs. All the videos on RUclips are outdated on how to quickly get all the glyphs.
Got a multitool that dose almost 22k damage now. Insane
Where did you find that Purple Rain Sentinel ship? Looks badass
I'd love to know too, can't seem to find this model on nmsce >.< edit: found it in jason's "Sentinel Tech Stream! No Man's Sky Interceptor Exploration" video at the 1 hour 30 minutes mark, ship was A class for me.
You can also delte the sential cannon and welp you cant get it back lol unless u find another one
Working on maxing out my sentinal MT, got lucky and found one randomly in a minor settlement cabinet.
I've reached a total of over 25k with my pulse splitter on my first s class sentinel multitool. It's insane how quickly it can wipe enemies on challenge difficulty rating
What I would love is a bit more of deep to combat
Or you know, go to a outlaw station. Buy all the technology and weapon cases, open and sell the tech for like 4k nanite. Teleport to your base and fly back.........
Just got my 1st sentinel ship tonight, Thanks for the info as always. My friend was just saying how he has hardly any nanites.
As far as the new MT goes, I hunted one with three slots grouped and my damage potential is around 21-22k on maxed out neutron cannon
Thinking about buying this game, I played it a couple of times at a friend when it was just out. Is it still sooo grindy?
Not too much, but the grind will always be there. Getting money / nanites is way easier now with the newest update though
Jason u forgot one more thing..u dont need a teleporter in sentinel ships..its kind of a passive technology of all sentinel ships
The nanite one is crazy
Something he left off is you can use the crystals to refuel your hyperdrive
I cannot wait to fly one of these in VR!
They may have updated some damage potential numbers, i just got a new Alien blaster last week that i upgraded yesterday, estimated power was at 14k.
my sentinal multi tool goes to 15500+ damage btw. and that with not using best setup. with like mod work of ruffly 30min.
