Nice!! Love the jigs!! My Grandfather had me out fishing since I was around 5 years old. I remember every trip and we always caught fish! Congrats to all of you on your success and thank you for your videos I’ve learned a lot about SPJ! Appreciate you guys!
My grandfather passed his love of fishing down to me. Growing up in Miami, I learned offshore, inshore, backcountry, freshwater bass and panfish, diving for lobster, shrimping on the bridges and many other kinds of outdoor adventures. He gave me my first boat at 19. It was a little 16 foot Atlantic with a 75hp Evinrude. Man, my best friend and I were all over the place in that boat! Looking back, I now realize that we did some pretty stupid things and were close to death a few times. But we survived, and made some pretty good memories. If I'd seen this video at 19 I can't promise you that we wouldn't have tried to go there. Luckily I'm wiser now and can afford to get my fix on The Yankee Capts. 😁
I was counting on Chris to say “now that we’re here, so far away” once you made it to Pulley Ridge! … once you go in your own boat, you’ll never want to go on a party boat again!
Tim was awesome! He was extremely knowledgeable and a joy to be around. Definitely wouldn’t mind booking another adventure with Gulf Coast Offshore. Tim and Dan were a great team!
@@JohnnyJigsTV Yes they are, was booked with them this Saturday, but too choppy Captain Dion with them is also really good, best charter in this area!!
My Grandfather Barney was smart enough to retire to Marathon where he taught me to catch Kingfish, Grouper and anything that swam. I am the Lucky One !!!!
My uncle Ed took me fishing starting when I was 12 in west central Florida. I'm 67 and love fishing the middle grounds! One of these day's I will fish Pulley Ridge!
Great video as always guys! I work with Entertainer Fishing Charters out of Pensacola. Would love to have yall come do a trip up here come red snapper season in June
What size reel is Johnny using? My grandfather got me into fishing, but he passed away when I was 12 so I quit Fishing until I was almost 28 and now it is the love of my life.
Johnny was using the maxel rage 90 and finished the day with a Daiwa Seaborg 300J. It’s never too late my friend! Tight lines and jig on!! johnnyjigs.com/products/daiwa-seaborg-g300j-electric-reel
There is a reason people spend good money to get out here and catch fish but of course you’d have to see the value in it for yourself to make that determination. Tight lines. 🎣
You cant catch Snowy Grouper 30 miles from anywhere on the west coast of Florida. That's 100+ mile trip. I'd spend more on fuel for my boat than you would spend taking a trip on the Yankee Captain to PR.

Nice trip! Tim is one of the best!

Great video
Thanks Daniel we appreciate you!!
If he caught a 20 something pound yellow eyes snapper that would’ve been the world record😂
He said it was on an electric
Mostly definitely, my dad❤
Yep, here in Pensacola, FL (Panhandle) and we call em Mingo, although I have no idea why.
I hope someone leaves the answer in the comments 😂😂😂😂 we need to get the community together on this one. ☝️
What was the conventional reel that looked to be set up under the rod? Aluminum with gold handle....

How many times did Aaron cry?
Dude....just told myself the same...fishing is stupid after I got skunked at the surf today.
Lol... But we will continue to do it anyway for that one trophy fish..
Lot of money to catch fish that you can find at 30 miles offshore
