My son had his first successful slow pitch jigging experience Thursday. We both had a blast in NJ catching croakers on 60g flutter jigs. We also caught a striper, taug, fluke, dogfish, and a northern kingfish. I didn't even know croakers and northern kingfish would hit a jig. I can't wait to take him on the Yankee Capt. Tight lines.
At least the sea anchor let you get vertical. I was on the trip before you, no sea anchor and we were flying, made it hard to jig. Get Marco a shirt! 😂
Epic trip. Too bad the weather was nasty. I'd love to do that trip sometime. Bucket list. Love all my jigs I've gotten from Johnnyjigs also. Keep the videos coming, guys.

Taking my sons light jigging is one of my favorite things to do. I'm glad to hear you guys had a blast. Tight lines Johnny.
