AUSTRALIA v WALES REACTION

- Joe Schmidts first time as head coach of the Australian Wallabies saw the team hosting Warren Gatlands Wales team at the Allianz Stadium in Sydney, Australia in the first of a two test series.
Schmdit has had this group together for a short period of time and the Wallabies had not played since being humbled by Wales in the RWC2023.
Wales on the other hand had not beaten Australia in Australia since 1969, so history was not favoring this Welsh side, nor was their current record of seven consecutive defeats.
There was a lot on the line for both teams in this game and in this episode of Inside Rugby with Mark I go through the game and share my reaction to various things that took place.
Thanks very much for supporting my channel by subscribing, liking and commenting on the videos. I appreciate it.

Thanks Mark. I think both teams will have the time to grow to be a force again at the next WC.
Lets hope so, the more teams who are in contention the better for world rugby. Thanks for the comment
Thanks Mark. Wales seem to have almost landed on a good team finally, with the exception of the centres. If they can fix that, they'll have something to build on.
Thanks for the comment. I think still some experimenting going on, I think the autumn series we will see this true Wales team.
Awesomeness Mark 🎉
Thanks 👍

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Ha ha....thank you for being a supporter from Day 1
Happy birthday 🎉
For all of us, thank you
was not a scrappy game and the last try was not under the post. the defence was good from Wales making wallabies attack so narrow! until their last 2 tries!
Hey thanks very much for sharing your views.
Happy Birthday Mark Wales where very poor and at times looked clueless and constantly failed to cross the gainline Also despite being together for a few fair weeks Wales looked the less cohesive team Didn't understand why B.Thomas was playing fly half or why M.Grady was playing 12 Those decisions just made no sense whatso ever Given that in the Autumn Gatland will be able toopick G.Anscombe and C.Sheedy at fly half [ S.Cotelow just not international class ATM ] Also i think Gatland has used the 6Ns and this tour to look at virtually all his young talent Only in the Autumn will he start to pick /select his real squad for 2025 and going towards the 2027 RWC
Thanks for that and for your thoughts which I have no different opinion on. All solid to me, thanks for the comment
Thanks for your insights. Aussie here who was very happy to have a victory in Sydney. I feel a little for the Welsh as we understand their pain.
Early indications are encouraging with our new coach. No over promising and getting back to basics. Hopefully we can compete well in our next couple of tests against Wales and Georgia although I really can’t see us competing with the Boks or AB’s later in the season.
You're welcome
So are you
