@Rescue Keikyu 2100 series has an acceleration up to 3.5km/h/s only, while if you go on to Hanshin railway and look on the Hanshin 5000, 5500, 5700 series. They have a much faster acceleration to about 4.0km/h/s or even up to 4.5km/h/s, although the maximum speed is just about 91km/h, as they served on 'Local train' only which stops at all stations.

I love the Japanese railway, here in my country, in the Argentine Railway local trains of Japanese origin have been used since the early 1960s after Japanese and English companies demonstrated the characteristics of their most recent electric models, they are from the "Toshiba" company with participation of 東急株式会社 (Tokyu Car) and 日本車輌製造株式会社 (Nippon Sharyo), approximately "Ferrocarriles Argentinos" bought more than 1000 Toshibas electric train cars from Japan from the 60's to the mid 80's, Japanese Model fulfilled the high expectations and proved to be more efficient than the models presented by the Companies of England. They soon gained the acceptance and affection of the people who even began to give nicknames to the different formations such as "Payaso", "Heladera", "Chapa" etc. The trains continue to operate to this day, although in 2013 there were several formations out of service, many are still seen on the General Urquiza Railway and General Roca Railway (These are Lines in charge of making different routes in the Argentine capital). My country has much to thank Japan for, without it we would not have been able to electrify many of our railway lines, we have very close railway relations with the Eastern country... Argentina is after the United States the country with the largest electrified railway network in both South America and North America, one of the largest railways in the world, a pioneer in the use of an underground service, inaugurating the first underground line in 1913, Argentina being the 2nd country after the United States to have a subway here in the West, we owe all this to the help of Japan and the United Kingdom. PS: Ferrocarriles Argentinos was a company that owned all the country's railway lines from the end of the 40's to the beginning of the 90's, before the foundation of the company all the country's railway lines were owned by English companies) Thanks for read my comment and sorry for my bad English hehe 😅
Umm no, Your English is very nice and awesome!!! Here in the Philippines, there's a new commuter train line under construction that will have an operating speed of 120kph to 160kph. Same goes for the new intercity line.
Controllers in Japanese rolling stock are generally designed with the assumption that the lever will be tipped forward when the driver loses consciousness. It's simply a difference in design philosophy. Other safety devices include an emergency brake if the driver takes his hands off the controller or if a certain amount of time passes without operation.
it’s been absolutely mesmerizing! i’ve wanted to become a train driver and I don’t know how to explain the thrilled I was going while watching this video. Thanks 🫶🏼❤️

PS: Ferrocarriles Argentinos was a company that owned all the country's railway lines from the end of the 40's to the beginning of the 90's, before the foundation of the company all the country's railway lines were owned by English companies)
Thanks for read my comment and sorry for my bad English hehe 😅
Umm no, Your English is very nice and awesome!!!
Here in the Philippines, there's a new commuter train line under construction that will have an operating speed of 120kph to 160kph. Same goes for the new intercity line.
最近は新町60キロ制限も無くなって

And this is how to drive a train! Amazing trip. Double thumbs up.
Yes, U.K. needs trains like these..
Wow. Propulsion and breaking action are fantastic.
For a local Electric Train, It really gets up and goes far as the speeds it can do. Very impressed with Japan's train systems.
Thanks for the video.
The Train Simulator that we want but don't deserve.
yeah😌
Know Japanese and you can play the fan made BVE5/BVE6 with quite a few mods. But the graphics will not be on a par with the Train Simulators on Steam
train simulator japan would be Lit. So many commuter lines, express lines, luxury trains and of course, the shinkansens
@@RS-nq8xk BVE5/6 has a setting to change to English
and yes the graphics may not be the best but it's very realistic.
There's old PS2 game on Keikyu that you can find, and BVE is a great Japanese train sim too

Good place to take train picture there! but so noisy for living...
@@KKiSM isnt problem for me😆
I am stunned by how smoothly the drives handles the train and perfectly stops at the perfect stop on the stations
Never seen this kind of lever to control the speed before. Seems weird at first but also cool!
Thanks 🫶🏼❤️
