As a Japanese living in Canada for almost 10 years, now I realize how clean my country is, and the asphalt is just perfect, there is no potholes.... Man, it's so nostalgic watching your videos...

Man, if you want to find out who invented potholes, you should come to Balkan. Here they are the feature, we even make you pay a toll for risking your life in order to witness the most glorious ones. We essentially build the roads around them, to highlight their beauty. People get mesmerized and many a car was lost inside them, it's like little Bermuda triangles, but with much less fuss and involves a lot of solemn pride: it's the Balkan potholes -- no potholes, no road worth having.

As a foreigner living in Japan, it is such a great country to drive around with.
The road quality is excellent, but there are lots of narrow roads which may be challenging for people living places with really wide roads.

There is quite literally a cut that deep into a mountain not too far from where I live. It is an almost vertical sheer rock wall. They couldn't even be bothered to stair step it. The amount of rock that had to be removed to make that cut is absolutely insane.

The express way, and just the road system in general is very good in japan

    • @Cool-Cat1
      @Cool-Cat1 2 года назад +4

The road system in Japan is one if not the best in the world. They focus heavily on public transport so the roads are generally quite empty when you get into more rural areas apart from some buses and trucks here and there but most of the people that want to go cross country will use Japan's rail system.
Japan is also more densely built so it is more common for people to walk or bike from A to B instead of drive a car like in America as it doesn't take you 35 miles to go to the nearest shop. In Japan almost everything will be in walking distance if it isn't the public transport system will take you there. If you want to look more into road development and how Japan is built just compare it to America which has built its cities around cars instead of people.

As someone who lives in Pennsylvania USA this video was like being right at home. The roads, the construction, the general terrain; all felt just like driving through some areas here, Mt. Fuji coming into view is something we DON'T have and that was breath-taking, thank you for the journey!

Доброго времени! Мистер Рамбалак, мой поклон 🙏
Огромное спасибо за столь увлекательную видео-поездку 🤗 Несмотря на то, что немного укачало - все было восхитительно😌 Очень впечатлили виды гор, укутанных густым туманом, заснеженные леса и, конечно же, тут и там "островки" сакуры 😍
С нетерпением жду новых встречь 😌 Удачи 😊
    P.S. 1:22:54, слева, привет Бременским музыкантам!!! 😘

Russian is a poorly-made, inefficient language. Its phonology is particularly weak (I could write a whole article detailing its grammatical flaws). But nowhere is its lazy design more apparent than in Russian’s declension system.
Russian nouns change form based on the last letter in the word’s root. For example, the nominative singular of писатель (writing) is писатель, but the genitive singular is писательство. From there it falls off the edge of the Earth. In this first series, I’ll discuss the nominative singular of neuter nouns.
лёгкий. This ends in н, so it has seven forms.
Russian can affix various endings to the word, like -тель and -ой, but changes in these doesn’t affect the seven forms.
Now, it’s not that simple. Russian has a number of irregular nouns that break the rules. For example, the noun рассвет is feminine, so it ends in a -a, not -я. Also, there are a handful of other nouns which have irregular declensions, but they generally follow the rule that an ending in -ей is feminine, and -я is masculine.
The only workaround for лёгкий is to memorize the various irregular nouns, and note their number in the dictionary.
I have no idea why Russian made nouns change form based on their last letter. It’s not intuitive, and I’d honestly be surprised if it had any basis in etymology.

@@phoneticalballsack Just wondering, is this some kind of copypasta? If not, It's impressive how incorrect this is, really. It'd be hard to get your examples and reasoning to be any more wrong even if you tried. At least, as a native Russian, I found the examples somewhat funny.
