    The video came one day too late hahahah yesterday lost a match against Pochettino's Villarreal and couldn't really break their defense. I am playing with Real Madrid, which means I don't lack quality, so I couldn't figure it out.
    Now I know, pass into space wasn't really working because they sat in a mid block and just gegenpressed me into losing the ball. I think early crosses and high tempo along with a shadow striker would do wonders for that match!
    Again Rashidi, thank you very much for your insight, you are indeed the Professor of Football Manager 🙏🙏

    Interesting theory on the “Take More Risks” PI, has your theory been confirmed by an SI developer? Like you say in the video, I’ve always been under the impression it meant for players to play more through balls, great video overall though!

      If you give a player with the "Tries To Play Way Out Of Trouble" a "take less risk" directive from the player instructions, the game will tell you not to give that directive. Even from that alone you can understand what the "take more risks" command does.

    I hope you or one of your many followers can help. Playing FM23, I have set my staff responsibilities regarding sales and loaning out of players to my duty, yet after setting fees and conditions, whenever an offer comes in, someone always rejects it. Consequently I am left with a group of players I can't get rid off, and they just run their contracts down. Thanks.

    Great video! Slightly curious, how does passing directness effect it all, would slightly more direct help with this too or would it we see players lobbing the ball up aimlessly

    • @BusttheNet
      @BusttheNet  Год назад +3

      While that instruction only affects passing, it could have interesting effects with the right roles and duties. The danger of course is that it can affect every player. Here I would just play on standard passing as a team instruction so that different roles approach it within their role settings

    • @chines1989
      @chines1989 Год назад +1

      It doesn't. "Drop off more" only happens in instances. It's a reaction to a player beating the press, do they take a step one way or another

    Have i understood this well: Passing Risks is mentality-related and because of this affects other decision-making behaviors like movement?

    • @BusttheNet
      @BusttheNet  Год назад +5

      Take more risks just means a player is willing to take more risks with the actions he does on the pitch. And this affects movement, passing etc.

    Cool thing about pass into space is the giving the ball away part creates more opportunities for you to pass into space - assuming your guys can tackle in the midfield :)

    good explenation, in a flat 4-4-2 with 2 advanced forwards, would you just reccomend using only a higher tempo, hit early crosses and using a mid block instead of a low block, in particular the 4-4-2 wing play preset if you made changes, plus take more risks to the 2 forwards

    Another bangin video 🔥 this theory makes sense. In the game wingers are unable to have the option to 'take more risks' when passing. I was confused as to why but maybe this explains it as the games trying to prevent them roaming from their wide positions.
