43:14 I agree completely, because 60 Hz screens are the norm, NTSC 30 fps videos are the way to go and flickering can be controlled via a shutter speed of 1/50 in PAL regions
I would like Sony to acknowledge this fact on their Vlogging cameras. Switching to NTSC on my PAL region camera has meant that I have to put up with the annoying reminder that I am shooting in NTSC every-time I turn on the camera.
As always you find things we have missed thanks for the work ...
thanks for this! and gorgeous bike!
Thank you for sharing your valuable skills and experience with us! Your expertise in cameras is truly impressive, and I appreciate the effort you put into explaining the intricacies of photography. Your insights have definitely enhanced my understanding and passion for capturing moments. Keep up the fantastic work and keep those helpful tips coming! 📸🙌
Thanks for the positive feedback :-)
Fantastic, Thanks !!!
Glad you liked it!
Great video! Thank you so much. ❤
Glad it was helpful!
As usual, this is the best Sony RUclips video review, I only have a 6400- mega happy with it, however Mark's RUclips site is so far the best photographic site ,for Sony, there's simply no need to look elsewhere- he has no peers.
I did not request a ZV-E1 pre-release camera to test and therefore did not release a review on the announcement day for the ZV-E1. As I am, however, very familiar with Sony's menus, and the how to put together good combinations of settings, I decided I would work on this setup guide to help new users. I was also keen to see what new firmware features Sony were releasing with this ZV-E1 that may work their way down to the sort of cameras that I do use on a daily basis.
This is the way. Cheers Mark, great review even this cam isnt for me! And ofc the NTSC reminder is here to stay with us lol 😆
I am delighted that you post a video on the ZV- E1 especially for still photography! Thank you very for making the effort! Your content draws me closer to a decision to invest on this new model!
Hello mark I want to acquire the Sony alpha zv-e10, to film (videos) the military planes during meeting .what objective do you advise me thank you
I am not sure what you are requesting when you say 'objective'. I can answer quick questions on RUclips but involved recommendations and support is offered via my Patreon.com/markgaler support channel.
@@AlphaCreativeSkillsMark, with ‘objective’ he means ‘lens’.
I advice a tele-zoom lens (200-600?).
I can't believe that Sony still doesn't have something like an FE 15mm f 1.8, yet... I just had to purchase the 16mm Viltrox 1.8... which is great, however...
I am currently using the Sony E 11mm F1.8 when shooting in APS-C/Super 35 mode as it has a 16.5mm full-frame equivalent angle of view.
Hi Mark, do you have a video for a7s3?
No - I missed being able to review the A7Slll because of COVID
How can you get the "Audio Meter" to appear on screen while recording on the ZV-E1?
Make sure you have set the top switch to Movies and then press the Display button a number of times until the Audio levels appear
Hello Mark,
One little question/remark on this camera: it doesn’t have Custom Hold memory settings, or did I miss that going through the settings?
I didn't register any Custom Hold memories when I reviewed the camera so Sony may have removed the feature, thinking it would be of no interest to Vloggers.
Hello! I’m thinking about fx3 or zve1, did you think that I could take the same videos? Thanks!
I can provide individual support and assistance on my Patreon.com/markgaler support channel
@@AlphaCreativeSkills thanks, but you are a Sony ambassador, I think that it’s not much professional ask money for one “simple” question for you. For other things, lessons, technical questions about the use of the camera… I think that it’s a good idea, but not for that. Thanks 😊
I receive hundreds of questions for support each day and Sony don’t pay me to offer any community support. Not one cent. Making these educational videos I do for free. That’s why 99% of the Ambassadors don’t make them.
It’s also not a simple question - the ZV-E1 will be better suited for some people and the FX30 for others. If you don’t understand that different products are designed for different photographers you are probably not ready to spend any money yet.
Is that means i cant edit with the powerdirector?
I don't know why powerdirector is. I use Adobe Premiere Pro
What´s about Sony Firmware Updates, Mr. Ambassador Mark Galer ?
For example Alpha 1 = 8K 60P and Stabi ? ? ?
Or should I better by Nikon Z8 ? ? ?
I am an Ambassador and not a Sony employee. Several time a years I provide feedback to Sony in Japan but I never receive an answer. In the 11 years I have been a Sony Ambassador they have never consulted me about firmware updates. I also seriously doubt that Sony Japan read my social media forums so I recommend you add your request on one of their forums. As an educator and professional photographer I supply a free educational service via my RUclips channel and a private paid service via my Patreon.com/markgaler Patreon Support Channel.
As an arrogant American. We appreciate you saying Zebra and not Zebb ra
Thanks - I used to write technical software manuals for a British publisher using American software. I could correctly spell Color and Colour in the same sentence, e.g. pick the colour you want from the ‘color picker’.
Have you tested this with a Ninja V by chance? I am curious if it can get a 10bit 422 4K signal output?
No I didn’t test this with a Ninja
12 mpix is getting old in 2023 where is 8k?
