The lawyers of Celsius energy drink should have settled out of court. That was real stupid on there part.
Where part?
They just won't pay. Who going to force money out of their accounts?
@@interestsavvy6813 He can garnish wages. He will be paid.
Originally he wanted only 30k… dumb board of directors
@@interestsavvy6813 You are clueless when it comes to recourse in a lawsuit. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 There's something called Seizure of assets which encompass everything on their balance sheet including cash and marketable securities.

They didn’t think he had deep enough pockets to fight the breech of contract. Gotcha!!
💯 ooops😬
You do realize they don't have to really pay it they can just file for bankruptcy. Hulk Hogan won a 55 million dollar case against gawker. They filed for bankruptcy and I'm not even sure he was paid out anything.
@@rickrick70 their tax records don’t show those kinds of losses. Celsius is actually doing quite well.

Thats definitely not what they thought 😂

He didn't even state the facts of the case, what a waist of 3min.
For real

Those are overjoyed lawyers, imagine their cut!
It will be immediately appealed so I hope they are going to like working on that case as well.
@Mr. Research I've been waiting for my 66% since October 2020
Probably 1/3. Crooks
33%
I literally didn't know what Celsius was until now so this is free publicity. Well worth the 82 million
Lmfao
Right. Because bad publicity about an 82 million dollar lawsuit is somehow going to be more effective at getting your attention than an 82 million dollar ad campaign... You know. Like the size of ones for a star wars or marvel movie.
What a dingus.
@@TheNondiscriminatory Well, they lost by not holding up the contract. They used him to endorse their brand and didn’t pay up. Now they lost their marketing budget. Lol
@@SL-lz9jr typical Jewish buisness practice towards the goyim who they feel are inferior.

The panel expert was skipping around the question. Did he studied the case well enough to know what were the specifics of the breach?
I happy to see I was not the only one who noticed.
@@pyrocro Exactly! I was waiting for the specifics- which were never given!
Nope
These 3 people need to keep saying Flo Rida, I love it.
😂😂😂
Kinda cringe lol
Almost tripled what he was asking🤔. Should have paid out the $30 millions🤣🤣🤣🤣
Flo Rida got a feeling he never never never never had before, no no
Maybe NOW he can give Kesha the money HE OWES her, after their agreement for her singing on his record.
Yes. She should take him to court
If that’s true u better believe she’s gonna sue him now too 😂
was there a contract for her to be paid? nothing has happened since then and she never sued so clearly there wasn't. unless it was written in paper and signed by the both of them for her to get credit and be paid legally he doesn't have to pay her anything
The analyst didn't answer the question: what exactly was the breach of the contract? Did Celsius end the agreement? Did they use his image and not pay him? (Also, he was asked this question twice and didn't answer it -- except by saying that it was a "breach".)
He didn't know.
It probably wasn't disclosed yet
I came to the comments for this exact reason! He didn't answer any questions clearly. Granted, he may not have known but it would've been better for him to just say that and explain what often happens in cases like this one. Tbh he was good about skipping out on those answers, though. It took me a sec to realize what he said (and didn't say)!
Said he was promised 1% ownership and that's what he was seeking.
They just bring someone on set because he's a lawyer so they can say they have a lawyer to analyze the case. Despite his expertise in legal matters, he was not privy to actual details of the case and anymore than you and I. He was just using legal jargon to explain what we already know.
Minus court cost and taxes the total amount will be $234.23
He'll pay out around 5m in legal fees and then the profit income will be taxed and he'll net about 70m
@YGB-Gaming Thank you. I understand basic humor. I work in finance and figured some people might find the actual pay out interesting. Stop being lame.
@@Jacob32905 if you think he takes home anything near 70mill then you’re crazy…..it’ll get cut in half in appeals at a minimum……and the lawyers take a much higher cut than that
@@Jacob32905 lol u are clueless. 1/3 of that is gonna go to taxes. Lawyer fees were probably another 1/3. So he will end up with 1/3 of that 82 million. Maybe a tad more.

I've been all about the 0 calorie energy drinks. I've had them all. At least where I live, Celcius came out of nowhere about 6 months ago but has completely pushed out the competitors that I would buy... at every gas station, supermarket and corner store. Now, I drink one every day. How did it become so big so fast?
Because it tastes that good!
And not even that they actually give me energy boost unlike that nasty shift redbull or monster lol

Flo rida:"i just want 1% of the company as promised.
News lady: "why was he awarded 82mil"
Financial expert: " I'm not sure why the courts decided on that specific figure of 82mil. We will wait to see how this unfolds to ask how of why they came up with that number.
Me playing the part of a non financial expert: Celcius Holdings LLC is worth 8.29 billion so..... One percent of that is.............. Roughly 82mil.
Celsius was on sale at Costco a few weeks ago, I got suckered into buying it, the drink is gross, its still sitting in my garage.
Biggest hit of his career

casual kidss
The explanation on the bridge is not clear
A bit foggy
The amount of the verdict reflected the number of Celsius shares he was due in the contract multiplied by the share price on the last day of the trial. 750,000 shares times 110 dollars a share.
😮
The American lawsuit economy is strange indeed.
So glad for Flo Rider!!
The legal “analyst” is a great tap dancer . He didn’t answer what the breach of contract actually was
my celcius tasted extra good today! Congrats Flo ❤🎉
let's stop drinking celsius so it goes complete bankrupt
*Celsius* 😂🤣
@@jayskicksnfits9372 every fkin time 🥲🤭
So happy to hear this! ☺️
Love that he’s drinking one after it’s over 😂
He lost. The original contract he had with Celsius was for a 1% ownership in the company. Celsius is currently valued at $10 billion. One percent of $10 billion is $100 million while still owning 1% of the company. The verdict enables Celsius now to pay Flo•rolla $82 million and he has 0% ownership in the company. That is why Celsius stock went up after the verdict and is over $100 a share right now.
if getting 82 million for doing nothing is losing wtf is everyone else doing then?
@@sosleepy512 Everything is all relative. He won compared to nothing, but he was still cheated out from what he was due from the company.
@@SL-pg4dh no he wasn't considering he was only asking them for 32k.
@@sosleepy512 like I said it's all relative. Yes he won compared to what he was asking for, but if the company had stuck to the original contract they signed him to and not breached it, his 1% he was promised would be worth 100 million today and keep growing as the company expands.

Meanwhile, the soldier who got pepper sprayed by the police only got like 3000 from the lawsuit he made lol... Oh America...
Yep. That is a LOT of money, and wasn't he already rich? I am not saying he didn't deserve it, but people that suffered a lot more than him get a lot less.
Did that lady just ask what happened right after he finished explaining what the case was about.. smh 🤦♂️
All beauty no brains
I think she was asking what exactly was breached. Like did they not compensate him, or did they not give him the stocks they promised? I actually had the same question after his high-level explanation lol
He didn't explain anything. I can figure out "breach of contract" from the video too, being a paid legal analyst means you research the case and explain it more in depth. I could have done what he did with zero legal background and never hearing about the case.
@@Anonymous0996 terrible analyst didn't explain that Flo Rida was originally promised stock options and bonuses that the jury felt he didn't receive over the four year contract period. Forbes has more details

Who needs Celsius? Give me Fahrenheit baby!
Let's see what he thinks after the appeal.
So he sued the company and won a lot of money and he still shows off the drink while being talked to 🤔

Their revenues climbed over 300% over the pandemic, lots of people have switched from RedBull to Celsius.
