I recently bought this album. Becoming my go too when in the car. You need to buy the album and listen to it how the engineers made it. It becomes a layered story of your subconscious thoughts and emotions. It takes you on a journey every time. What a great album.
Three great names. I wish this genre had more like them. There needs to be more clarity and subdivision too, because those three labels are very clearly something distinct from what often gets lumped into "psybient" and ends up being some moaning savage taking a piss (ethnic is what it gets labeled as sometimes, but it's lumped into psybient a lot).
100% agree. it's too easy to get into an artist you think will be dishing out just this vibe, only to find out 3 tracks in that they actually are aiming at full on psy or just trance mood. which is not bad, but as you said, division would clear things up quite a bit
I agree. Music genres/labels can be very confusing and even subjective sometimes, so I usually prefer not to think about them. But I would agree that those three artists don't sound quite like what I've often heard as "Psybient". Still they are great ambient artists that have some type of similar sound or feel.

I just saw them live in London, going to see them at Ansroporth in September, just outside London again. They are awesome, atmosphere is so calm it's perfect

Assuming that we've both subscribed to Cosmic Soundwaves and the Psychedelic Muse, we've probably been exposed to a lot of the same material. XD
