- the calm last session leaded us into a big battle vs omnis which ended in a very crazy way. in fact, it probably was our most crazy ending ever XD

That teno fought for so so long against three different hunt attempts what a warrior 😭
yeah, but it should have died vs the omnis already. I could have lived with our first escape. but, saved by mixpacker (twice) was too much of a burden to keep alive
@@da.mombie i would not think them mixpacking was the reason to let you live. they just saw how many bodies you delivered via the omnis and then you lured in dillos next xD i bet they just thought they had enough to eat and since you were no immediate danger, it would be a waste to kill you and let you rot.
I was so happy you managed to kill that one raptor with the dark back. Can't believe the mixpackers saved your life twice. Stamina not regenerating while you're at rest but standing is ridiculous. Imagine watching any sports game where there are line changes and instead of a bench you have racks of beds because that's the only way the players can regenerate.
thx mate ♥ I like that stam somehow. it felt great to be helpless I don't mind reality too much. not in every aspect of the game at least
stamina does regenerate while standing, but once your blood gets below a certain point, your stamina regenerates at a slower rate, and when your blood is too low, your stamina basically doesn’t regenerate. it gives hunters a better chance of taking down larger prey like stegos, because getting their blood down low takes a very long time. it is a very fair mechanic, and prevents people from just camping a cliff edge while standing to regenerate their stamina and get rid of the hunters progress in just a few minutes of standing. also, mombie was a solo reno against a full pack of raptors, he stood virtually no chance anyways

like you said, the blood level slows down the regen that much, so, it doesn't make a big difference WITHIN a chase/hunt/battle.
also true, a solo teno shouldn't stay a chance vs 8 omnis. it's weird enough that a solo teno can handle 3-4 omnis pretty well. that said, it very much depends on the players.
a new teno player will have a hard time vs 2 good omnis and a good teno player will destroy even 6 new omni players.
Its 20/40/60 i think. Below 20 is only sitting. 20-40 is standing. 40-60 is crouching/walking. 60+ is trot. Hes right about the bleed though. Once you hit below like 75% natural stam regen and healing take a huge hit till blood is healed. Stam may be even worse at lower levels. Def know healing takes a penalty almost immediately.
@@da.mombie i don’t think it’s ever changed. like ammo said, 20/40/60 are the thresholds for certain points of stamina regeneration. 60% and above, you can regen by trotting. 60-40%, you can regen by slow walking or crouching. 40 and below you can only regen by sitting down or completely standing still, and even then, it would probably take over 10 minutes to regen your stamina at that point. But also, before then, you’d either die or recover. But i do think it does make a big difference in battle, since most people like to do “standoffs” where they just sit still and stare at their attacker, bluffing their way out of the situation by seeming to still be fighting strong, but actually on the brink of blacking out from blood loss. It makes fights more tense, i really like it.
And yea, tenos are pretty strong. Teno is one of the best if not the best fighter in the game, having attacks on both ends of its body that can knock and stun people, and do a lot of bleed and damage. Also having the fastest trot in the game, makes it a very difficult dino to take down. I’ve seen solo tenos fight off raptor packs easily, all it takes is good positioning and timing your attacks. But you’re right, it all comes down to player skill, and i absolutely love it when i’m in a huge raptor pack with decently experienced people, taking down stegos and tenos and anything else. really makes the best moments in this game.
Teno is my absolute favourite. 90-95% in game time I spent on it. It is so powerful dino if u know how to play it and use terrain for your advantage and you are great at doing them justice for sure. It's fun to watch you (all your videos not just tenos) and hope to meet you again in game ;)
thx mate ♥ yeah, teno is a nice and pretty strong dino. well, at least in skillful hands. I see myself as average player and in terms of teno even low average. but, I still enjoy it a lot
Lag and rubberbanding seem to be a thing again on every server I've played with a side of Fatal Error.
yeah, I played yesterday and had some awful lag too again. very annoying
@@da.mombie had 7 fatal error yesterday and did not die to one! Just luck or honest players? I love to think it's the latter but that's just me projecting my standards.
Unfortunately, this is still a problem. It's not impossible to play with. Mostly annoying, only then disturbing. But that's how it is.
@@GibbonHUN yeah, they seemed to have it reduced in the last update so hopefully they'll get a patch out soon.
Wish others understood. Apparently I lag-killed a fellow troodon and their friend rage killed me every time I came back. I guess sorry isn't good enough?😔

thx mate ♥ yes evrima has progressed a lot. if I think back at my first update 3 experienced, then it's amazing how far it has come. it's still an alpha and has still a long way to go, but, in my opinion they are on the right track. even if I don't agree with every decision, but that's just a matter of personal preference

I love that we can scent while walking now, but I hope they add a little more animation for it for the herbis cause right now it just looks like we're very stuck up dinos. Fighting a big pack like that can be so overwhelming but fun! Personally I just get frustrated when its such a large pack and its super laggy, you did really well though! Love that the dryo came back to help 💕 dryos always have a heart of gold. The hit at 10:40 was sooo clean, I just know that was super satisfying! Those were some weird mixpackers ... I was amazed that your blood started healing, but it def feels bad to be rescued by carnis, especially mixpackers. Were they just on a mission to eat other carnis and save herbis? so strange
yeah, that's such a nice quality of life feature. the animation looks a littel weird, but, I don't even mind much. personally I love when I don't know where to look first anymore. I was so overstrained, but, like you said, it's so fun at the same time. specially in this situation. I just wanted a good final fight and so I was prepared to die anyway. I hadn't planed to make two teno videos. but, this fight was worth an own video and way to long to cut it into the first one
I also loved the whole ending. it was so weird and different. it was such a "only in the isle" situation
I like the new stam, it makes the fight more interesting since you have to worry about stamina as well as health

If I’m being honest I love being a herbi. It’s sorta a more chill lifestyle compared to the always have to hunt carnivore style. Plus a lot of the times when I’m a teno I take care of babus and make an entire herd lol
It took me this long watching these videos to realize why the mimic feature is in Spore lol. We really do tend to like those that mimic us lol.
I'm not quite sure if I get what you mean that Spore confuses me. sry, my english isn't good enough to get it
@@da.mombie oh, sorry. Spore is a game by EA that focuses on evolving a character from a single celled organism to a space pirate lol. After a certain point, you can make alliances with other clans by mimicking what they do lol. Its a cute game.

The moving around i think made you bleed out faster. Also stopped the bleed from healing quicker i think.
yes, but you can't stand still vs so many omnis. they pounce you from everywhere as soon as you stand still. well, you can find a spot to do that. like at a cliff, water or anything. but, that's pretty boring imo :/

Right. Tenos are beasts when it comes to battle, if everyone is hurt, best to not even risk it against a teno.

your teno was tough!!! it lived a good fighting life, teno is super strong and an op mid teir, its awesome

I was doomed and knew I have no or not much of a chance anymore in the end because of the stam. it made the situation so tense. if I would have got stam back, then the whole dilo situation would have been no big deal and not even close as tense but yeah, this teno had a good life
tip: the alt bite is very fast, poverfull and can be used with no stamina!

Yes the claws they need it but if you out of stamina you can still use them you can test it at norden or if you don't have an admin there go to "fast grow" server and test there

this depends on your settings. if you have manual alt attack like I do, then RMB. honestly, I don't even know how it works with automatic alt attack. you can change these settings in the gameplay tab in the settings btw.

@@kadkins3 I prefer the manual alt attack a lot. in this case you have normal bite (LMB), claw attack (ALT+LMB), kick (RMB) and slam (ALT+RMB).
I never understood why they changed that setting to be honest
but, be aware, that's for all dinos. so, if you want to turn bite with deino (or any other dino), you also have to push ALT+LMB.

living roadmap. they changed the old roadmap like update 4, 5, 6 and so on to a living roadmap which is at stage 1 or 2 right now. honestly, I'm confused by the new roadmap

thx mate ♥ glad you enjoy them. music helps me to express my emotions/mood during the different scenes. so, trance and electronic is mostly during scenes where my heartbeat is pretty high it doesn't fit to a chilled beach scene or so. therefore it always depends on my session and so I can't promise it

The carnos probably saved you for all the bodies you left everywhere. 😂You deserved to live on that one. I understand you have a RUclips channel, so you need to cycle through dinos. But for us ordinary folk, we don't need to cycle through, lol. I think you felt like you didn't deserve to live because the mixpack group saved you in the end.
My viewpoint is the opposite. You killed that dilo. The game didn't see it that way, but you did when you kicked him twice, and the kick went through his body. The dilo would have been tail-slammed and kicked in the face. That should have killed it or, at the very least, messed it up so bad it would withdraw from the fight.
So you fought the raptors off and were able to sneak away in the dark while low on everything. You somehow live through all that, and then a dilo finds you, you tail slammed the dilo, and with low blood and low stam, you manage to kick it. I wish it would have registered because that was epic. Some skill and some luck, but you lived through it all, and you walking away into the sunset would have been the perfect ending 😀
the kick that didn't get noticed by the game is a good point and I like the walking into sunset ending but, I didn't think about the kick in that way during this situation to be honest. from my point of view it was like, the omnis would have deserved me. but ok, I could have lived with that and could've taken it as a lucky ending. then I fought that dilo and it was also very brave to go for a teno. specially after it got a slam right at the start. then I got saved by the same carnos again. already embarrassing. then I thought, ok, if so, then get my body as reward for saving me. then I saw they are mixpacker and I was like uhm, a reward for mixpacker? saved by mixpacker? nope
