Fantasy kitbasher here: best finds I ever get on eBay are incomplete regiments, because a lot of times you will find someone else's incomplete kitbashes they gave up on from years ago, that you happen to have the leftover pieces to finish it than if you had started from scratch. My overall goal is always to spend less than I would have if I had bought it complete or new, that way I can use the leftover money to decorate them with something stupid. Like, equipping a random chaos warrior in regiment with an axe from a bloodthirster.
I recently picked up 6 of the old metal fantasy river trolls for a touch under £100. They're going to proxy mega nobs in my snakebites army. They're my all time favourite models from Citadel/GW.
Man, I love trawling eBay for intersting finds. I buy a lot of my minatures second hand - restoring them is another part of the hobby for me: Getting them from an unloved state to the place that they deseve. My most interesting find is probably the C22 Werefox from 1985. It's about one or two heads smaller than normal infantry from that time. But the weirdest thing is that it is essentially a naked and quite busty lady with a foxes head. To my shame I have to admit that I have not painted it yet, simply because I am not sure how to make it less wierd...
That 1992 Warwagon. Some good Bon and Tem lore right there
A fun dip test of GW history thanks for this nerdy ass research
This was of course "nerdy ass" research, not its far less desirable cousin: nerdy "ass research"

Filtering for sold items might mave been better for realistic values as you know someone was willing to pay it.

If you want that Wizard with Sub-machine check regularly as they often sell for under £100 used.
Love your Ultramarines jumper 💙

PS: Yes, the C22 line is the same line with the anatomically correct werewolf...
Green stuff clothes/rags, like she has just transformed werewolf-style?
I own Boris, and I thought what I paid 15ish years ago was ridiculous, but apparently it’s only got worse.
Praising Hashut is not cheap...
I bought a necron raider... The first ever necron model. It was originally given away with an issue of white drawf.
I remember that! Nice, 👍
1997 .... Metal Thunderhawk came out. MOST EXPENSIVE OF ALL TIME
So of you want to make a retro Chaos dwarf army, you need to be a billionaire
What you need is mantic games abyssyl dwarves, and little snakes of green stuff to make thier beard rolls. Atleast, that's my plan anyway.
I have a buddy that got those big hat chaos Dwarves. I wonder what he ever did with them.
No limited edition Thunderhawk ??
Was wondering the same thing.
haha great vidéo x)
1993 comedy clown shoes Warhammer. I have 1984's, bought new.
Hey u saw you at the local warhammer shop today. I did my research and I thought I recognised you.
Hey haha! Well some of the supplies I bought today will be appearing in a video here next month...

If there’s any chance that you will be returning, would you be down for a game someday? I would love to fight your beach-boy orks.
