Yup. Charlie would never know Dan’s travel schedule or his gym routine. Only someone who has shared custody of children or some other intimate involvement with his day-to-day schedule would be able to tip those bumbling drunk hitmen off to where he’d be at 10:30am on a random weekday.

Wendy driving up to Dan''s neighborhood just a block away from the murder house surrounded by cops. She just "happened" to be there, just happened to be driving by just as the police were finding Dan's body...but she didn't rush in to find out what was going on? No, because she knew what had happened. She was just checking to see that, indeed, there had been a "crime" on Dan's block. What a coincidence!
And don’t forget Magbanua who agreed to set the murder up for the Adelsons for some breast implants and money. She could have reported this to the police and worn a wire when Charlie first began talking about it… she could have stopped the whole thing and Dan would still be here to see his sons grow up.

The detectives got the arrest warrant that morning,they knew she had booked flights online and the time of the flight 8pm ,they were monitoring her..It was left until he last minute for a reason,to prove they had checked bags in,gone through security checks,boarding passes ect..it's proof they were getting on that flight,intent to flee,that's the evidence they needed.

Wendi didn't throw her family under the bus in the police station, she threw her brother under the bus when she told Jeff and the tv guy the "joke" about her brother hiring a hitman. Notice in the arrest video for Donna, she never says “ what are you doing? Why are you arresting me? Same for Harvey. What is going on here? Why are you putting my wife under arrest?. that’s what an innocent person would say. But instead, Donna goes “ here we go again”

You're probably right, the best thing she can do right now is to keep her mouth shut - although that may be too late because she';s already said (and written) far too much. The prosecution will still be able to get her emails into evidence through Wendy (the recipient) and her damning phone and text statements in through the law enforcement officials who conducted the wiretaps and forensic examination of her cell phone.
Oooh, I bet she will. I bet she will think it’s her best chance to win over the jury. I don’t think she has the temperament to stay quiet. And I don’t think her lawyer will be skilled enough to advise her to stay quiet. She, or someone, has to explain why she said the bump had to do with her and Charlie and why she paid Katie. And I would think they’d try to explain away the crazy emails.
@@Realitycheck98765 I think you're right. I mean what else can she say? Although the jury may not believe her, she has a more plausible story than the one Charlie gave. Charlie needed (and failed) to convince the jury that he was actually being extorted by Dan's murderers (Garcia and Rivera) and that he was making installment payments to them through Magbanua in order to avoid being killed. Whereas Donna does not need to prove that that's what actually happened, but only that Charlie told her that's what happened and she (as you said) believed him. And so she will say that the checks she wrote from the Adelson Institute each month to Magbanua were extortion payments on behalf of Charlie to (again as you said) protect her son. After all, what mother wouldn't do almost anything to protect her kid, even if she wasn't altogether sure he was telling the truth? She may get at least some jurors to relate to that and believe her, or at least not be 100% convinced she's lying. But a very big part of it is how she comes across at trial, and particularly on the stand - how the jurors perceive and feel about her. Judging from her last couple of appearances at hearings, It seems the defense has been trying to tone down her persona and to rebrand and sell a more elderly, grandmotherly and reserved image. However, those hateful and spiteful emails to Wendi about Dan and the tactics she recommended be used to get him to agree to relocation are the elephant in the room - and a very ugly one at that. She emphasized to Wendi that relocation was EVERYTHING, and not only did the court deny relocation, but Dan had a well-grounded motion pending to restrict her visits with the kids to supervised visits. I'm sure she was infuriated by how things were going...
Donna’s e-mails alone are enough to show how unbelievably evil and wicked she is. True justice for Dan Markel would be for Donna, Wendi, and Harvey to join the other lifers behind bars. (This family is the epitome of entitled… Donna really thought that they were expected to inform her when she had a warrant put out??? 😂)

Direct exam with Rashbaum, day 6, part 2, @42 minutes, Charlie states HE called Wendi from his car on his way to work etc. At charlie's trial when asked by Ms. Capleman if she spoke with Charlie on the day of Dan Markel's murder Wendi stated SHE called her brother to ask if she should get the TV repaired or buy a new TV (1:26:27).
I’d love to know what Donna and Harvey’s plan for the grandkids will be since they almost fled the country. I hope they wrote a goodbye letter to kids that can be used in Donna’s trial!

She was being passively manipulative and wanted them to gleen from her statements that “oh, ok well if Wendi thought Charli was involved, she NEVER would have told us that he said that because it makes him look suspicious. She must really be confident that he’s not involved.” 100% Manipulation by Wendi.

The detectives got the arrest warrant that morning,they knew she had booked flights online and the time of the flight 8pm ,they were monitoring her..It was left until he last minute for a reason,to prove they had checked bags in,gone through security checks,boarding passes ect..it's proof they were getting on that flight,intent to flee,that's the evidence they needed.

You're probably right, the best thing she can do right now is to keep her mouth shut - although that may be too late because she';s already said (and written) far too much. The prosecution will still be able to get her emails into evidence through Wendy (the recipient) and her damning phone and text statements in through the law enforcement officials who conducted the wiretaps and forensic examination of her cell phone.
Oooh, I bet she will. I bet she will think it’s her best chance to win over the jury. I don’t think she has the temperament to stay quiet. And I don’t think her lawyer will be skilled enough to advise her to stay quiet.
She, or someone, has to explain why she said the bump had to do with her and Charlie and why she paid Katie. And I would think they’d try to explain away the crazy emails.
She has to and will take the stand. She has to explain everything. She’s just going to say she believed Charlie and wanted to help him.

@@Realitycheck98765 I think you're right. I mean what else can she say? Although the jury may not believe her, she has a more plausible story than the one Charlie gave. Charlie needed (and failed) to convince the jury that he was actually being extorted by Dan's murderers (Garcia and Rivera) and that he was making installment payments to them through Magbanua in order to avoid being killed. Whereas Donna does not need to prove that that's what actually happened, but only that Charlie told her that's what happened and she (as you said) believed him. And so she will say that the checks she wrote from the Adelson Institute each month to Magbanua were extortion payments on behalf of Charlie to (again as you said) protect her son. After all, what mother wouldn't do almost anything to protect her kid, even if she wasn't altogether sure he was telling the truth? She may get at least some jurors to relate to that and believe her, or at least not be 100% convinced she's lying. But a very big part of it is how she comes across at trial, and particularly on the stand - how the jurors perceive and feel about her. Judging from her last couple of appearances at hearings, It seems the defense has been trying to tone down her persona and to rebrand and sell a more elderly, grandmotherly and reserved image. However, those hateful and spiteful emails to Wendi about Dan and the tactics she recommended be used to get him to agree to relocation are the elephant in the room - and a very ugly one at that. She emphasized to Wendi that relocation was EVERYTHING, and not only did the court deny relocation, but Dan had a well-grounded motion pending to restrict her visits with the kids to supervised visits. I'm sure she was infuriated by how things were going...
They should have charged Donna and Charlie together. It’s ridiculous to put the Markel family through trial a free trial.
Donna’s e-mails alone are enough to show how unbelievably evil and wicked she is. True justice for Dan Markel would be for Donna, Wendi, and Harvey to join the other lifers behind bars. Direct exam with Rashbaum, day 6, part 2, @42 minutes, Charlie states HE called Wendi from his car on his way to work etc. At charlie's trial when asked by Ms. Capleman if she spoke with Charlie on the day of Dan Markel's murder Wendi stated SHE called her brother to ask if she should get the TV repaired or buy a new TV (1:26:27).

Like “my brother DID say these things about Dan, but I’m confident he wasn’t involved so I’ll be open and tell you all this because even though he said those things, I know he’s not guilty”. She was being passively manipulative and wanted them to gleen from her statements that “oh, ok well if Wendi thought Charli was involved, she NEVER would have told us that he said that because it makes him look suspicious. She must really be confident that he’s not involved.”
