I love playing the spoons, I was taught by a fellow waitress while I was waitressing in Halpins in Cork. Once I was searched at the airport and they asked me what the two silver soup spoons were doing in my handbag. I replied 'they're for percussion' and the security guy said 'prove it'.. and so I played a spoon solo at customs.

As a professional chef who has experienced much high-level fine dining, spoons have been my most important tools for the past many years.
