"In case you've been living under a rock, Discord recently released their new username system, which essentially copied every other platform. This handle update has been extremely convoluted, and has been pushed to a large portion of users despite almost no one agreeing with it in some way or another. Other then making the update pay to win by giving nitro users it first, they also reserved about 90% of the names people wanted onto old, inactive accounts. Discord has been censoring hate on their Reddit, which by the by happens to be "r/DiscordApp" & not "r/Discord" as their name was already taken."
