Fantasmic! Returns to Disneyland Park! Full 4K Mutli-Cam Show 2024

- Fantasmic! at Disneyland Park has returned! See new special effects in the battle scene between Mickey and Maleficent and the return of the "Peter Pan" scene that features The Lost Boys for the first time!
After its closure in April 2023, Fantasmic! returned on May 24, 2024, and features lighting, projection mapping, fountains and mist screens. Among the changes, the dragon will not be featured and the "Peter Pan" scene takes the place of a Jack Sparrow and skeleton crew segment.

the updated show was fantastic! i really liked how Mickey's choreography reused some of the old ones from the original Fantasmic (1992-2016). (though i hope they make a new Maleficent dragon audio-animatronic.)

I'm so glad Peter Pan is back! While I don't mind the Pirates movies, the Pirates segment was just bad.

I’ll love this show forever and ever. It’s been my favorite since the first time I saw it July 4, 1995. But I miss the Dragon.

GLAD THAT IT'S BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!
Honestly am happy they've brought back the Peter Pan segment and even got a new re-score. The only aspect I kinda miss is the Tick Tock animatronic from the original, though it's still better than the Pirates segment overall which was one of my criticisms with the original 2.0 version.
The only thing really missing is the Dragon, though I do hope they can work around with a replacement dragon that won't be as troubling with the flames as it was prior.
I am glad it’s back, now all we need is the dragon!
Surprised to see in the revamped show, that Disney is now shooting fireworks at Malificent and Mickey (all around them) -- especially Malificient on the pole - It seems to be an accident waiting to happen.
They should have put Dragon on a stick back...that whole segment is so awkwardly paced now almost like she's straight up trying to kill him.
The fireworks aren't actually shooting at her. They wouldn't be allowed to do that. It's actually shooting away from her. In certain angles, it does give an illusion that it's shooting towards. If you sit on the sides, you see that it's not going towards the actor.
Ya know, I have a theory that the dragon is still in plan-b on the water screen. We’ll just have to wait and see.

What they should bring back is roger rabbit brer fox mulan jane porter and rafaki in the boat end scence
do the belle and ariel barges have new movements at the finale of the princess segment? They rotate in place now !

I hope Star Wars, marvel, the muppets, Pixar, kingdom hearts and bill cipher will be in the new fantasmic in the future, I can imagine Luke skywalker in a lightsaber duel against darth Vader, the marvel avengers battling Loki, the muppets performing rainbow connection, and Mickey Mouse, ford pines and Stan pines team up to take on bill cipher..

I don’t think all of this video is from last night.. Mark Twain has more people in the first shot and less when it comes in front of the camera. They didn’t have as many people on the boat last night.

I hoped it was a lie that the dragon was indeed gone. it looks like the b show when the dragon wasn't working. I really hope that they reconsider bringing it back. give it to the imagineers to make it bigger and better than ever. no copy of a broken design.
snow whites scene is gone. the song that goes to them gave me goosebumps as a kid. tangled has a long way to go to deserve dismantling snow white. I think if they somehow made lanterns fly around vs projections it would be more visually impactful.
one positive is they brought back Peter pan. though the crocodile as a projection felt like a b show feature when the crocodile was not working.

Yikes, Fantasmic in "B mode". The cheap stench of budget cutting. Aladdin and Jasmine no longer riding their magic carpet, the less elaborate peter pan segment, and so many screens that used to be actual scenes, with actual people. Underwhelming with no dragon, not even projected. Just, meh.
