Thanks Kim for this runtrhrough. It is very clear and I enjoyed watching. It is a pity that you did not show also a round of solo play.

Very good video. I now almost totally understand how to play. I was lost on my own.
I'm curious though...when you moved your US Scout to 8A, why didn't you put down a (binocular) marker?

That was an oversight on my part. It was the only time I forgot to put a scout token on a new space (but I did take the requisite Fog of War card). A binoculars token should go in that tile, though. Nice catch:)

It was already noted in the Klingon subtitles also... like Kim asked at the start of the video, please turn On the Klingon Subtitles to see when erros are made

Kimberly, thanks for the runthrough. I'm happy to see this game get more exposure. Pavlov's House: The Battle for Stalingrad was my introduction to David Thompson. I purchased Undaunted: Normandy and Reinforcements for the solo play. The solo is run with cards featuring an option tree that takes a bit to get down, but is very robust.

Good playthorugh! I like the way you explain your choices. What is your opinnion of this game vs Memoir 44?

The games feel similar in the sense that turns are quick and you are only allowed to select from your current hand what your actions will be for the round. As well, I think that the amount of luck in both is comprable (the card draws in both games along with the dice rolls to resolve attacks/battle results). Both games, too, have you change the map/terrain and the set up of each scenario with asymmetrical starting hands and positions, which adds the level of uniqueness and change that helps you feel like you're playing a new game each time. However, I find that Undaunted: Normandy is quicker to set up and play through compared to Memoir '44, which is nice when time is an issue or a desire. That might be my only difference which dictates which game I pull out to play.

I would have shot to kill on that 2nd suppress from the machine gunners. Felt like a missed opportunity ( ie. 2x dice to get 1x 7 or more)

Recon removes the Fog of War card from the game; it isn’t put back into the pool. Also, Recon causes another card to be drawn. Good run through!
