Ok, I'am looking to start a hive i am located in holly springs NC that's wake county, any help would be appreciated.

Wake county has an excellent beekeepers association. I’d recommend starting there. They should be able to help you find a local mentor. How did you acquire your EpiPens? I don’t have an allergy to bee venom but lots of young kids visit my farm and I’m a little concerned that they may have an allergy and be unaware of it.
If you tell your doctor that you keep bees, they’re generally happy to write the prescription regardless of if you’re allergic due to visiting friends and neighbors.

@@jordanbethea541 You’re welcome! There are different brands of epinephrine also. The Epi-PEN is name brand, but I know Auvi-Q is fairly popular for beekeepers also for its price and ease of use.
