      We got ours from Glass Packaging Solutions, LLC
      But if you want to try a couple of them out there's a link in the description.

      How many frames of honey did it take to make your bottles

    • @RascalApiary
      @RascalApiary  3 года назад +2

      We had eight 13oz bottles and four 3oz bottles from two frames of honey.

      And the honey is measured by weight, not fluid ounces.

    I'll stop by a local man's house that had bees but he had about 12 buckets turned upside down with bees all over them I asked him what that was for he said it was to feed the bees to help them make honey what does sugar water do for the bees to make honey

    • @RascalApiary

      The sugar syrup should not be fed to bees when they are making honey. It’s not real honey at that point. Some beekeepers feed their bees prior to spring to ensure they have enough bees to forage when the flow starts.

    Thank you very much for this video. This is exactly what I needed to see. I have a couple frames that I have in the freezer that I need to extract. I feel I know what to do now. I just have a few questions. What was the name of the yellow frame rest you had on the bucket when uncapping and where did you get it? Also where did you get your knife? I haven't seen any like that. But I do have a long serated bread life that looks like it. That might work.

      @@RascalApiary thank you for the quick reply. I will definitely check these out. I have the manual 2 frame extractor and that same sieve. Now I just need these 2 things and I'll be ready to go. I always enjoy learning from your videos. 💖

    If you heat your knife it will go a lot better.

    • @RascalApiary

      We use hot water instead. Heated knife can change the taste of the honey slightly and we want to keep it as close as we can to the original taste.
