This is a great video for me in that it showed ways to approach swarms in different spots. I like that you were both calm and professional, not rushing, stopping to think (wonder where I picked up that tip, thanks guys;) and that you explained things as you went along. In fact it was so good that I almost felt I could catch one.....lol, NOT! I mean that you kept it easy, simple and no showmanship, it inspired some confidence in me that I may be able to know what to do if a swarm happens.

Lol! Love the bee humor! I guess the lesson is that swarm catching can have its struggles. It's not always as easy as some of these youtubers make it out to be! But like the last video. If you can tell the signs, then doing nothing was the better course of action.
@@RascalApiary Well, thankfully I have a simple common sense rule. Have been around long enough to know that most things are not as easy as they look, and common sene tells me I better contact my backup buddiies:) Agree there is no point in charging ahead and then like you point out, loose a hive. Love that feeling when I work with animals and now bees, and we both win!

@@RascalApiary They were sure they knew you but wanted to make sure it was you in the dark clothing. Once the bees got closeup to your face they said "It's ok, it's Mike, carry on girls!"
