last year i had a hive right by my chickens, and there was never any problems.
my cat used to hang out with the bees too, and again, they never bothered her at all.
my dog got stung by a bee because she tired to eat it, and now she wont go any where near the hives, or even anything that has the smell of bees on it... she will even bark if i offer her honey....... but she still always tries to eat bees that buzz by her...... i guess she learned half a lesson.

I don't know if my chickens have ever gotten stung. My pitbull limps when she steps on a bee, so I know which foot to pull the stinger out of. My chihuahua just starts running around fast and whimpering.
My feelings are the chickens are a great match with bees. The only time I see an issue with the bees, you'll watch a chicken run as fast as they can and even try to fly.
@@RascalApiary I often say my chickens are similar to my bees. I let them out every morning and they disappear into the woods to forage. Then they come home at night and make something I like to eat. 😄 Luckily I haven't had one get eaten by predators yet. Our rooster is pretty protective.
