How do I know when the depth is properly adjusted? Do I have to reel in every cast? How do I know if I’m too deep? Please help

Okay, thanks for your question. If you have a depth finder on your boat, you need. To first find out at what depth the fish are at.. At that point, most rods from the reel to the first eye is roughly about 2 feet. So one way you can do that is you can count. Pull out line from your reel to the first eye and count, Every pull from the reel to the first eye should be two feet as you go down and that's one way that you can keep track of your depth if you are using a spinning reel, They usually have a little tab that's on the spool. You can put your line and hook it to that tab on the spool that and it will get you back down there every time in the same place
Thanks again for watching, and thank you for your comment.
