Wet spots were so aggravating. But then I. Started paying attn to a lot of other brands & like you said they had wet spots. They don’t affect the quality of the candle. I No longer stress over wet spots.
Thank you so much, Erica. I poured test candles two weeks ago and noticed that most of them had wet spots, and I was like OMG what is wrong, so this truly help 😊
I am getting to the point of not caring about the wet spots as well. I'm an engineer so I'm naturally a perfectionist and this has driven me crazy for so long. I had a batch without wet spots at the 24hr mark. I went back 2 days later and there were wet spots. Thought I had it figured out but nope. I'm tired of heating my vessels, burning my fingers and the extra time it takes just to heat them up while pouring and still getting them.
I have always used clear glass so I’ve always tuned into wet spots. I am a small batch maker so I can employ tricks of the trade that would be really tough if I had large wholesale orders!
Thank you so much! I did worry but recently was like not a lot I can do about it so decided to stop worrying x Thank you so much for the added reassurance x
Hi, this is an “off topic” question. I thought I heard you were publishing another book about starting a candle business, if this is correct, when might it be available? Thank you.
Yes I am working on finishing up a how to start a candle business ebook! Here is a link to join the waitlist to know when I release it! www.ericamariemorris.com/ebook-waitlist When you join the waitlist I send you the first two sections of chapter one for free :)
