You give sound advice, it's always a case of doing your homework and continuously reevaluating the situation and you are far more likely to succeed. Always look at your expenditure, ask yourself is it justified, are there areas where you can cut back without it affecting your products or services. Always look at income in relation to expenditure and visa versa and always keep a check on the margins.

Ask yourself : what do I like in a candle, and why do I like it ? What would be my ideal candle and why ? Be your target audience. What do you like, what are your passions ? Let's say I like classic litterature, maybe I could make candles inspired by female characters from these books, like Jane Eyre, or Anne of Green Gables. Or maybe I like nature, so I could make candles inspired by different places, like X Forest or Y Mountain or Z Beach. It's just silly examples, but the most important thing is to do and make things you like.

Definitely target audience and advertisement are the biggest challenges for me. It is an ongoing work. I do like your idea of finding a Facebook group that is your target audience and asking them what they like. I might try that.
One can have multiple target audiences as well. I remember faintly in my memory somebody was selling some sort of cute handmade necklaces that resembled something in real life, I think they resembled food. Anyways, they found out one of their big audiences were bikers because the bikers were buying the necklaces for their girlfriends/wives.
Shipping is one of the main problems for me, I don't live in the US and the country I live in doesn't have many quality options like in the US and it makes the whole process more expensive
Would you also offer tips on how to break into the bridal business in your course?

and who are you selling to erica? your candles doesnt seem to be specific to a certain population. are you teaching something you dont apply? I think this is why i stopped being a fan of your channel. you seem to juset want to put out a video without the old passion you used to have.
@@hi-cblanco7913 I’ve mentioned many times that this is a mistake I made when I created my business four years ago, I didn’t know who I was selling my candles to as I thought my target market was “people who buy candles”.
It wasn’t until more recently after years of experience that I realized the importance of knowing your target market and who you are selling to so that you can design your products to their liking. I also think you can have multiple target markets.
I have different markets that I focus on in both wholesale and retail that target people who have an appreciation for minimalistic and modern home decor and California inspired fragrances. I have slowly started transitioning my packaging and marketing efforts towards this demographic. Also, I am very passionate on this topic, that’s why I talk about it so much because it’s the advice I wish I had when I was getting started.
I know you don’t like me, and that’s okay, but remember that you leaving negative comments like telling me on a previous video that I look like I hadn’t showered in days, isn’t very nice.
Please don’t project your own frustrations in life onto others, you don’t have to watch my channel at all.

@hi-cblanco7913 you are 100% wrong about Erica! I can't even begin to express how wrong you are. You clearly don't know anything about her or her business. I've been watching her videos for years and she has helped me tremendously with each step of my business. She has even responded to emails I've sent her asking for help on certain areas I'm stuck in. She doesn't know me as I'm a stranger yet she has taken the time to still help me. That doesn't sound like someone that isn't genuine! And to judge someone based on their looks clearly speaks volumes about YOUR character. So leave her and her business alone and go worry about your own insecurities.
