Super good podcast. One thing about trying to find your target audience is, once you think you know who your audience is, you have to be able to market to them. If you can't even reach out to them then you can't even figure out if they are the right audience. Marketing is my number one struggle.

This was an awesome podcast! A lot of good information & a lot of truth ! Which is needed, it’s hard work , you’re definitely going to (at some point) be willing to change & adapt, I know I’ve done it a few times in the last few years, and the hardest will (for me be the target customers / market) people seem to always changing it up 😅one minute you think you have it down to a science and bam it changes or they change , I basically take more custom orders now than I do online that seems to work the best for me right now, that could change after I post this comment 🤣 Thank you for this podcast and I definitely am loving the Candle Business Guide 🥰

I've never been so passionate for something. With my ADHD, I run through hobbies like no ones business haha, but I've stuck with this for over a year now and my business has been self sustaining for a while. I believe I can reach my main goal. Not sure how long it'll take, but I'm putting in as much work as I can to make it happen. Something that I found funny was when you said "it can be fun and it can be hard" it reminded me of being a parent XD sure it's fun sometimes, but it's also hard. Our businesses are basically like our children I guess haha.
I have a question so am reopening my business soon. And have to types of markets. One of them are memorial candles am dedicated it to my son who was killed two years ago. So do i do to etsy shops or can i have two different types on one shop.
@@TawandaSanders-kc4cd I’m so sorry for your loss ❤️ I would say as long as the overall product is the same (I.e candles) then you can have one Etsy shop and still target two different markets
You really shouldn't keep it quiet around your baby. He should learn to sleep through a hurricane or an earthquake if you live in California. LoL Use the vacuum, dishwasher or watch tv and talk normal to one another. No yelling of course. Love your videos.
@@dorothydefranco6952 we lived for 10 months with him sleeping ten feet from us so yes, there has definitely always been some kind of noise for him :) however, I do also want him to get restful sleep so I try my best to keep the noise to a minimum if possible, just as I would want if I was trying to sleep. Funny enough, he was actually born during a California earthquake 😅
That's just a weird way if looking at life. Things can be going perfectly well and if you think the way you do, you'd think you're not doing things correctly...it seems sadistic
